You like to read the occasional COMIC BOOK and you have come to idolize the devil-may-care antiheroes found within their pages.

God, just look at Troll Dredd. Magnificent. I AM THE LAW. Fucking brilliant. You can only hope to come up with one-liners that great. You can totally see yourself spouting smug quips like that before capping some upper-crust militant highblood scum with your giant pistol.

At least you would if you weren't stuck with your dreadful 1/2 SWORD 1/2 GUNKIND STRIFE SPECIBUS. God what an awful idea that was - all the looks and style of a gun and sword with the functionality of neither; you're actually a little afraid to hit something with this thing, let alone shoot anybody for fear of it backfiring - just another remnant of the shameful interests of your youth that still haunts you. You used to be very much interested in TROLL ANIME and JRPGS (what the J stands for you have no idea seeing as troll japan ISN'T ACTUALLY A THING). Your passions were set aflame by tales of boy heroes coming of age and becoming the legendary hero, of ultimate techniques and limit breaks, samurai and yokai and the like. But after awhile your interest in it waned, and now you are quick to tell anyone who asks that you think it is shallow, hyper-stylized, poorly written dreck and are pretty staunch on your viewpoint. But secretly, you always kind of hope you find something of quality that re-awakens your interest in it since it was a big part of your youth and you do have a fondness for the aesthetics. Otherwise all that time learning your various NINJA MAGICKS for your JFLARP days was a complete waste.

He is your best friend but he's still pretty heavy into all that stuff and you can find his enthusiasm for it a little childish and over the top at times. He is still your best friend all the same, even if you have to occasionally rain on his parade every now and then. Sometimes you wonder why he puts up with it but you guess if troll anime has taught you anything its that friendship is a powerful and mysterious force capable of overcoming anything. YOU GUESS...
