
Deer practice, a rough sketch. Getting a feel for cervid anatomy as of late. I do like is expression. And there is something I enjoy about the rough looseness of this.

A good [piece of work on the deer. I think for improvement you ought to break the volumes down into planes so as to organize the light and shadow a bit more. I am one of those withthe opinion, the sletch isn't don unless there is an indication of light and sshadow. However you got the expression and that difficult skull shape down.

I'd need to see the photo used for reference but I'm 95% certain that the antlers on the deer's left side are bigger than the right one and how the rest of the deer's body kinda seems to be separate from the front part and also the body is leaning to the right side of the picture so it seems like it's falling.
