Astraeia, Queen of the Aether
In a realm beyond the mortal world, spirits dwell in the Aether. Elemental spirits that have been since the creation of the world, reborn souls of powerful mortals, all spirit beings live here and Astraeia is their Queen. She is the Keeper of the Law and the Arbiter of Pacts between mortals and spirits. When a sorcerer bonds with a familiar or a mage makes a contract to summon a spirit to the mortal realm, it is though Astraeia's grace that this is permitted: no spirit can interfere in mortal matters without her blessing.
When she visits the mortal world herself, life springs forth from her footsteps. She spreads goodness and life wherever she goes and to see her is a blessing in an of itself.
I won this beauty in an auction held by blighthound. I had been struggling to bring this character to life for some time, but when I saw this design, it all came together perfectly! The lovely Spirit Dhole has helped me bring an important part of my "Sorceress Series" world to life!
