MRL's been dealing with this "random gender-shift" condition for awhile, and I think she's getting pretty good at it! No need to let a sudden case of femininity interfere with work at the lab, when she's got a spare skirt and blouse handy - luckily, labcoats are unisex.
Now, if only she could figure out what's been leaving patches of slippery goo in the lab at night...hopefully one of the tentacle beasts hasn't gotten loose again.
