Sold this one off-line to
kalikafutago's mom, who will be giving this to a little girl for Easter :) Named so right now, because the name of the colour of yarn I used was Snow White (white, with irredecent strips in it, so it SPARKLES!) This one features lynx ears, a mane, dual-coloured wings, feline tail and tail tip. Even it's matching egg has sparkles in the white ;)

It just takes practice :) I learned how to crochet when I was about 9 (which was...25+ years ago...Oh God, I feel old! XD)
One place I've found some easy stuff to make amigurumi at is the LionBrand.com webpage - you need to make an account there in order to view the free patterns, but it's so worth it! If you do, try out the amigurumi octopus (it's a cute little purple octopus!) Really easy to do :)
Plus, if the head (er...body...whatever) doesn't look round enough, what I usually do is this: After I've stuffed the octopus body and I've closed it up, I kinda squish it in my hands and roll it around, kinda like as if I'm making a meatball. You can make it as round, or as flat on the bottom side as you want :) I usually roll the octopus bodies a little oblong, so that it actually sits flat on the table without the aid of the legs :)
