The T1 Heavy tank is an American tank that saw the day in 1940. The prototypes were tried out in December 1940 and September 1941, but it was never mass-produced.

As you may have guessed by now, I've been playing World of Tanks. I never thought I'd ever get very into anything featuring a motor, but it looks like that all changes when it's plated with >80mm of metal and has a fuckin' ~75mm caliber cannon. Riding in one of those things, even if it's just a virtual vehicle, makes you feel like a juggernaut.
I'm actually not sure how large that thing is, since I've never seen its size compared to a human (nor a numeric value of its height) so hopefully my fursona riding on the side isn't too big in comparison. Also Canadian flag on the turret just 'cause.
Perspective isn't perfect, but that's okay. I took just one night to pencil through it and then ink, it was beautiful.
Used the World of Tanks model for this tank as reference.

Heh the T1 is a fun tank. Not driven it for an age mind. a good compairson for human/tank size would be this prototype photo of the M6 http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped.....tank-OWI-4.jpg considering the two are very similar. x3 i know the T1 used to suffer heavily before they split up the KV into the KV 1/2 but still. :3
indeed not too far off no :3 heh. the T1 was fun, i aint driven it for an age though. i did like it, but i tend to play more premiums around T5 now when i do x3 got the crusader grind on. thats... harsh xvx
TD's are fun if drawn right. the SU85B is still pretty OP if i recall, dont exspect it to be nerfed anytime soon x3

Never actually played World of Tanks, but the general class of tank destroyers kinda fit that description; like the M18 Hellcat. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M18_Hellcat
The game itself is free. Most of the game content costs credits, which are earned by playing, but extra garage slots, a premium membership (which gives you extra experience and credits), and certain tank models and ammo types cost gold, which you get by paying.
It's hardly game-breaking in most cases, though; an unskilled player in a tank that shoots premium ammo will still die pretty quickly.
