Here's something that I've been working on in past few weeks. I got the inspiration from a lizard called thorny devil. I don't normally post my other stuffs here but I really need some helps here. I'm still looking for good color scheme for my lizard guy. Some people said the color is too simple and doesn't really stand out. So if you have any suggestions on the colors or on anything, I really appreciate it. Done in Zbrush.

Since I'm rather colorblind, I won't comment on the color scheme (but hey, looks fine to me). Overall it looks really good, but the image itself is murky, which I think has more to do with the contrast than anything else.
If you load the image into an image processing program and look at the histogram, it's all scrunched up. Just hitting auto levels really brings the thing to life.
That's my take anyway. I'm not familiar with Zbrush.

Thank you for the comments and the suggestion. I adjusted the level so hopefully you can see it better now (you prolly need to refresh it). That's the problem with my monitor because I know it'll look different on others computer but not many people have given me feedbacks on it. But thanks again for letting me know. It really helps a lot.
That's much better.
You know, you can tell a lot about the quality of an image by looking at the histogram. In normal images, it should be nice and spread out and balanced. So even if your monitor is out of adjustment, you can assess and adjust the image quality "theoretically".
You can actually buy a little hardware gizmo to calibrate your monitor for about $60. It's called a Spyder2, by Colorvision. My monitor is calibrated, unfortunately my eyes aren't.

Are you looking to somthing compleatly diferent or just topolish what you have?
I think your color scheems alright just need to bump it up a bit and break up that red.

That is awesome. Personally I think the colour scheme looks great.
The contrast could to with increasing a little bit, but otherwise.
I think the head could do with a *little* bit more work, just doing a little bit of reshaping. It really does like the head of the shark guy from Blue Sub. 6.
I wouldn't know about the mutant from Gaiver.
