i don't think animation is that complicated in and of itself, but i need to figure out which program i should use for what i want to do, and i've only animated anything with windows movie maker before x3

i'm usually too lazy to braid it x3 i usually put it in a bun if i haven't gotten to brush it properly in a while and it looks memoir than usual X3 i figure that way nobody can see how bad it looks :B brushing this mess is definitely hell, particularly if i didn't bother to brush it recently or if i didn't totally drown it in conditioner in the shower x3 i think my hair is the only good thing i have X3 though i only really like it when it's dyed and brushed into submission XP it usually doesn't like behaving at all.

I've got my eyes and my hair (hazel and auburn, woo), I think they're the best features on me!

I use whatever I can buy at Costco (which is usually Dove or Herbal Essences) and anything that's on sale/cheap at Walmart (usually Garnier, for about $4 for a large bottle of SHAMPOO, I do buy my conditioner at Costco for the extra large sizes 8D)

I engage in this pastime called "goo hoarding", which is basically gathering craptons of shampoo, conditioner, face wash, and other gooey soapy things
So our bathroom has a LOT of different types (some are expensive because my mom bought them for me, she's obsessed with my hair)
BUT YEP. I've seen loads of Suave stuff for 1-2$ at Walmart, same with Vo5, but I guess since I spend all my money on cat food, cat litter, anime figures, and personal care products...I end up with enough money to afford slightly more expensive brands. Oh well, my hair likes it better xD

maybe you could try writing for an hour or two, and then watching an episode of a show you like or listening to music for a while, to give your wrists a break? though, i'm the first to understand that's a lot easier said than done X3 i've put off basic needs if i was really into something i was drawing before |3 drawing in and of itself isn't that hard; it's a lot like writing by hand, but usually with a bigger variety of strokes :3

oh yeah. i've seen (and used to watch) some that would charge $300+ for a single character, cel shaded picture. i mean, i could see that kind of price for something that was hyper-realistic, where you could see all the fur and stuff, because you can just look at it and see how long it must have taken, but that much for something that the artist themself admits only takes them a couple of hours? yeah no x3

and i'd rather not do something quite like that, because things tend to happen to me/ my stuff, and i don't like owing people for long periods of time. BUT, what we could do is this: i'm still open for sketches now. so, if you've got ideas for commissions any time you feel like tossing some money at me, then i could do the sketch phase, and then finish them to whatever stage you want for the balance when i get my new tpc. it's an idea, anyways x3

I definitely like to see a wide variety of art, but there are only a few people I'd actually commission (for money issues, as well as liking their art enough to splurge a little~)
$300 is obscene. I would NEVER pay that much. The other day, I checked out an artist I really like that I think is pretty good, and a single character, full color "paint" picture was like $75 and I just laughed and said "Nooooo waaaayyyyy" cause that's just...ridiculous. Not that I'd be el cheapo with good art if I liked it. I mean, I've spent $100 on a single character before... But if I don't like the art enough, I just won't do it. And of course who doesn't prefer cheaper art? If I had more money, I'd just pay artists to do whatever they want with any of my main chara's XD I might just have you sketch each of them, then choose which ones I want colored :P

i totally know how you feel. i mean, i watch 91 people, and i'd say at least 80 of them are good picture artists (some of them are crafters and stuff also screw you firefox crafters is so a word and if it isn't then i now declare that it is because it should be anyways.), and even when i had extra money, i only ever commissioned...three of them. if i had money now to spend on commissions, there's still only three i can think of i'd want to, two of them one's i've commissioned multiple times before (and both of which are closed x3) it definitely does depend on how much i like their style, though. i mean, i've seen plenty of artists with decent stuff that i'm just like 'no way would i pay that much for _______', and then turn around and spend twice as much, or wish i could x3 also i've done something similar to that before, it was quite interesting. it made it feel even more like a present (all the commissions i've ever gotten were presents to myself, though not all of them had a holiday attached ;3) because i didn't know what was coming x3
and yeah :/ i've been going nuts because i owe someone irl a bracelet they commissioned me for in early november x.x thet don't mind the wait because they don't have money right now anyways, but still. i need to draw more of my characters and upload them x3 maybe that'll be my goal for next year, to draw a different one of my characters every day x3
and lol, don't worry about it, i've got older submissions with even more comments x3 it just means it gets more attention than it would otherwise c: and i need to find aim on here and set it up again :o

Oh, art...why must you be so expensive?! //sob I know how that goes. I really like the people I watch (well, most of them, since some of them don't even upload stuff like wtf haha), but I just don't have the money to spend on art. Especially since I don't spend like, 90% of my time staring at it, so why would I spend 90% of my money to get it done? Although to be fair, I spent about $180 on my Japanese stuff (preordered a game, got some cooking stuff and candy they don't sell at my market here...omg Opera, preordered is a word, accept it ._.)
I wouldn't worry about the bracelet if I were you. If the person is cool with it, it's no big deal, you know? When they become impatient and expectant, that's when you worry @.@ I hear a lot of artists with similar problems to you, or other problems that make it hard to draw (like health concerns and stuff) have been getting attacked for not giving out free art. Which, you know, their art is crazy expensive...but still, I don't believe free art should ever be ASKED for, only given ._. I hope nobody heckles you for free art, especially under the current situation D:

I mean, if an artist decides to just draw some stuff and it happens to be for other people, free because they choose it to be, then that's okay. But otherwise...just don't go there. I hope nobody asks you for free art, your art is really cute and you're amazing at coloring. Plus under the current circumstances, I think you can use all the money you get, you know? i used to feel that way for the longest time, but i'd watch anyone who i saw on the front page and liked a picture then x3 it took me a while before it sunk in to check the rest of their gallery before i watch someone, since it seemed i have a knack for finding the one clean picture out of 100 adult ones the artist did x3 so it got to the point where if i couldn't even remember the last time i'd faved something of theirs, i'd unwatch them x3
once all this crap with my laptops is over with, i need to do more gift art. it's something i've never done much of, mostly because i always feel like other people's is so much better than mine, so mine doesn't feel like much of a gift |3

I think the only problem I've had is if I wasn't paying attention, and saw a ton of awesome art and then watched...only to find out later it was all commissions :x Which I'm totally guilty of, since I upload all my commissions... Your art is so good! I don't know why you think it wouldn't be much of a gift :< I don't think it matters if you're the biggest popufur on the internet, or a dinky homeschooled self-taught artist...art, writing, even just WORDS, from someone else, can be the greatest gift c: I made the mistake of fighting with someone over gift art once, and I lost her as a friend, which is basically why I'm so against it now. Looking back, she wasn't the best person...but I'd hate to lose another friend over something so trivial.
You can't control what's going on right now, unless you have a magic "fix my computer" wand that you're not telling us about :P I'm pretty sure you'd be sketching, lining, and coloring your butt off if you could right now! And I'm sure she knows that, and won't attack you. But if she does, I'm pretty sure Melangetic would jump on her xD
I think if someone was like "Hey, do you do free art?" and you said "No, sorry" and they were like "Oh, okay, no problem" it would be no biggie, no know? But if they're the type of person that's like "OHEMGEE MY LIFE IS LIKE SO TERRIBLE I WISH SOMEONE WOULD GIFT ME SOME FREE ART AND BLAH BLAH BLAH" then it's like "gtfo, please". I totally agree. I think I'll be okay in the next few weeks, just this is a tough med to kick and I've been basically addicted for roughly 7 years XD My sister is a doctor, and she was really concerned with me getting off of it since I guess a bunch of bad stuff can happen. But it's really just feeling like I'm on a boat all the time, and migraines. I just don't want my typing to suffer too much, and definitely not my friendships. So I'm warning people x3 I hope you feel better soon! Gosh, I actually remember you mentioning that you were sick, and that was a long time ago. Make sure you're eating properly and getting enough sleep!
I think get well soon art is genius. If everyone who was sick/had sick friends bought get well soon art, artists would be swimming in money :P Well I just really love art...it always makes me smile :D Although he's bought me several adopts lately, and I don't want to push him o.o Maybe I'll buy my own when I get some more money :D

omg, EXACTLY THAT. if they just asked outright and accepted it when i said no, i'd be fine. but when i get the 'oh i wish i could buy this but...' or 'oh i really like this but i've got _______ so i can't...' it DRIVES ME INSANE. not only does it annoy me for most likely the rest of the day after it happens, but stuff like that usually happens on submissions of whatever it is they want, so then i get annoyed all over again any time i look at that submission. that's happened to me multiple times <.>
that makes sense :3 i remember that it used to be pretty obvious whenever something was changing with my brothers' meds, because they'd act different or the like. definitely sounds like it's better to be off of, though. migraines and land turning into a giant boat for you for a month or two are better than the majority of the side effects I've seen/read. ( 'oh, you have a headache? no worries, just take this headache-begone pill! side effects may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, ulcers, stroke, heart attack, mood swings, depression, suicidal tendencies, blindness or death. but you won't have a headache anymore! unless you're one of the few people it doesn't work for at all :C' ) and yeah, i've been sick for like, seven weeks straight now x.x every time i'm almost better, i get something again. i hate it, it's slowing me down so much and completely wrecking my normal schedule.

i think the side effects that always made me facepalm most were the ones for most anti-depressants I've seen advertised. because the majority of antidepressants have 'possible side effects of: increased depression and suicidal thoughts' i'm just like uhhh.... yeah no. and im trying to not be sick! also don't feel bad, I've never tried taking care of a sick person before, only sick pets |3 it does seem to be getting worse, though, probably because the weather's all over the place, or at least here it is.

Mine is fairly small, but it's definitely got the power of a small computer, or at least a tablet. I'm usually fairly careful with it, though. Last phone I dropped in a puddle about a week after getting it @.@

that's one of the reason's why i won't take them! i'm just like, the side-effect are worse than the problem! at least now i'm -used- to dealing with what i've got- and the worst part of most of those is that i've heard from people who have taken them and DID get affected by the side effects, is that they're really stealthy so you don't even realize yourself that you're feeling worse than usual because of the meds. it's definitely a good thing you've got each other to look out for you with that kind of stuff, though. seriously! though if they made stuff that didn't have the horrible side-effects, then you wouldn't have to take different meds to deal with the side effects and make the pharmaceutical companies even richer :D
i'm trying! really i am x3 i haven't had a fever for two whole days now \o/ and if i can get rid of the coughing, then i'll be able to start working on some projects, like the bracelet and making myself a winter coat x3 and an ear template so i can finally sell those! and i bet it is :o the cape can be pretty nice, when it feels like it x3

I totally agree! I've taken meds since I was about 12, and I never noticed how they affected me until my doctor changed them for whatever reason, and all of a sudden something cleared up! But, luckily, my doc is really good, so she doesn't treat the side effects unless they're life changing or debilitating :3 So far the only one she treats is nausea, because I actually legitimately have extremely low blood pressure that makes me nauseous each night, AND all my meds tamper with my stomach, so it comes in handy to have a pill for it >.<
Ohmygosh Honeeee! Only two days? You're falling apart D: Try to keep the fever down, don't talk much, and drink lots of warm stuff (like tea and soup) to help your throat. Things with honey, lemon, or ginger in them are particularly good for your throat :D I think you'd feel better if you finished the bracelet, and a winte coat :o So cool! My mum is...not badly off, and a fashionista, so she frequently buys me new clothes. Not usually ones I'd want, though -.- I don't know what an ear template is? ._.

Gooood! Yep, I make the same thing, though to be honest, I don't get sick that often ._. Probably because I've spent so long on so much junk that makes me feel like shit, that I just got used to feeling crappy and never noticed xD Making clothes is hard, but making shoes is a whole new story. You've gotta make the actual covering, as well as a sole, and make sure it seamlessly meshes in together @.@ I could never, I just don't have the patience xD And the weather here is like...50's at night, up to 80's in the day ._. i just can't be bothered to pay for it. i bought it because my brother said he'd pay for the plan if i bought the phone, and my family was being annoying about me going out late at night with no phone, so i bought it... then a bunch of crap happened, and almost two years later, it's still never been set up or made a call or text. and ugh kids these days don't know crap :T so many times i want to smack them.
seriously, i never get sick, except this past two months. like NEVER. and that could very well be why x3 i wish i could, but way too much stuff needed and the like. dang X3 the high for today is 11, over the next few days it's supposed to be single digits x.x
haha! i used to have mime so it auto-started when I turned my computer on, but that slows down the start-up, plus i forget how to make it do that anyways X3

Well it's good you don't get sick often! I think last year I got sick with a super mild cold for like a week, and that was it ._. I think it'd be fun to make anything, as long as you had the money and materials :D Mainly cause I just KNOW I would screw up the first five pairs of shoes //shot WHAT. 11?! I would DIE. I literally live in pajama shorts and t-shirts. I also have intense sensitivity to cold, so I would probably end up with frostbite, knowing my luck @.@
I would set mine to auto start, except I just sleep my computer every night. I think the most I could do would be to just leave it running, and it would turn on every time my computer woke up. But I only have like 3 friends on there (Hikkun being one of them ;v; ) so there's not much point :P If you ever get around to booting it up, just let me know and I can be online within like a minute of reading this~ //creeperTaru

yeah, it's ridiculously cold. i wore two sweaters, a t-shirt, a jacket, fleece pj pants, 2 pair of legwarmers, two pair of socks, two scarves and 2 pair of gloves, and i was cold the whole time i was outside. and it's only supposed to be worse tomorrow and the day after x.x i'm sitting in bed with five blankets on right now.

i rarely goanywhere either x3 the con i went to was mostly luck- my friend at the time really wanted me to go, and she had a friend who lived in boston who we stayed with for the con, and someone my brother knew drove us up, so the con itself only cost about $100 for us (though i spent a fortune on clothes for it >.>) i got lost a lot though because i didn't have a phone x3
i like making things, but i don't do it near often enough |3 and that reminds me that i should finish the scarf i was crocheting x3 i'm definitely gonna post pictures when i'm done! i kinda wanna post the concept sketches, but i'm afraid someone would steal them >.>

Ah, I was lucky, since Comicon is in San Diego, about 30 minutes from where I live :3 And my dad is a total comic geek, so I went every year from age 12-17 ^.^ It's nice to have lucky coincidences like that :D But having a phone is very useful x3
