Fiachra has always believed that art and music are every bit as important to a child's education as history or math. So, in order to encourage Rebecca to explore her creative side, Fiachra gave her daughter one of her favorite flutes from her collection. When it is silent, the flute looks completely ordinary. When it is played, however, two powerful enchantments are revealed. The first is the flute's ability to teach its wielder how to play. The second spell allows anyone who is still pure at heart to bring her dreams to life. This way Rebecca will have music for her lifetime.

She really does, doesn't she? And to think, these are what she does in quickie streams! And yes, Rebecca is just adorable here, and I do like what Iko did with the flute. As I said to Rabbitfangs, I've been wanting to give Rebecca a flute since we agreed on creating her. Since Fiachra plays, it only makes sense that her daughter would have at least some musical talent, and it just sounded like such a fun idea I had to get it done. So I'm glad you like it!
I'm so glad you like it! After seeing Rebecca brought to life in the last picture, I just couldn't resist getting more art done of her, and I really think Iko did a beautiful job with her, too. Plus, I must admit, I've been itching to give her one of Fiachra's flutes pretty much since we finalized all the details. Maybe it's just me being selfish, but I'd imagine that any daughter of Fiachra's would have to have some musical talent! I'm glad you like the story, too. I'd had the idea for the flute to teach her how to play when I commissioned this, and the rest came as I saw Iko putting it together. So it was sort of spur of the moment, but I'm pleased with it.
