Ingredients
Meat Patties:
1 pound ground beef
1 egg
1/4 cup bread or cracker crumbs
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 clove of garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Gravy:
1 cup thinly sliced onion
2 tablespoons flour
1 cup beef broth
1 tablespoon wine
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
Directions
Mix together the beef, egg, crumbs, salt and pepper, onion powder, garlic, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl. Divide it into eight balls and flatten them into patties.
Heat the oil in your skillet over medium heat. Fry the patties and onion in the oil until the patties are browned, about 4 or 5 minutes per side. Remove the patties and put them aside on a plate.
Sprinkle the flour over the onions and drippings and then mix it in. Gradually pour and stir in the beef broth and wine, season with salt. Simmer and stir over medium-low heat for about 5 minutes or until the gravy has thickened. Turn the heat to low, return the patties to the gravy, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
Serve with mashed potatoes and your veggies of choice. The gravy is perfect drizzled over the potatoes.

*shivers terrified* I have such bad memories of school lunch and Salisbury steak
In elementary school every time they served it at least one person eating it would throw up.
They also bounced like a rubber ball and some where blue which I now realized must of been some sort of mold... Oh god the repressed memories are coming back! Why?! Why would you do this to me?!
