Episode 2A: How to Overcook a Good Duel.
With the Surfing Duel over and done with and Ariel’s rage subsided our Heroes are now relaxing at one of the water park’s eateries. Their waiter (dressed as Sand Gambler) had finished taking their orders, but didn’t recognize Crash or Torrent in their human guises of Michael and Ariel respectively. Although he was curious as to how Michael had managed to get that black eye of his. Michael replied that he was ‘let off with a warning’ and ‘thankful he wasn’t swimming with the fishes’.
“Thanks again for the autographs,” Cody smiled treasuring the three signatures, “so where are the other members of Nature’s Fury?”
“Arctic’s not really used to the warm weather,” Sora explained, “so Fang took him over the Umiiruka section for the day.”
“Well, I’ve got the lead singer’s autograph at least,” Cody sighed.
“Yeah,” Leo rubbed the back of his head, “but sometimes I think they only keep me in the band because of my dueling skills.”
“Quit putting yourself down,” Sora blasted Leo again, “that’s not true and you know it.”
“I said sometimes,” Leo shrugged, but Sora responded with her water blaster again, “I was kidding and now I’ve got wet fries.”
“Sorry about that,” Sora ‘whoop’ed and hid her watergun.
“These fish are great,” Dan smiled examining the fish more than he actually tasted them, “And this sauce, the balance of olives and tomatoes is perfectly mixed and that Paprika just blends right in. It could use a bit more lemon in it though.”
“Eh, how’d ya know that,” the waiter overheard Dan’s critique, “that recipe's a secret.”
“Dan has super senses when it comes to tasting food,” Ariel smiled.
Cody leaned in to Leo and Sora to whisper, “I just wish he had the same sense when creating food too.”
“I heard that,” Dan crossed his arms, “and just for that you wont get to try my Vanilla Pasta Recipe.”
“Oh no what ever shall we do…,” Ariel rolled her eyes.
“Vanilla Pasta doesn’t sound that good to begin with,” Leo shrugged his shoulders.
“And what would you know about food,” Dan pointed at Leo’s meal, “Chicken nuggets and french fries. You’re what? Sixteen? You’re still ordering off the kiddie menu.”
“I like the fact that they’re shaped like little Kuriboh,” Leo waved one of the nuggets.
“You’re not helping your case, dude,” Michael leaned back in his seat.
“Well, I meant that they’re a work of art of their own,” Leo pointed at the details put into the snack food, “do realize how many hours it takes for an artist to create the basic design for such a thing like this? All for the sake of a child’s happiness in devouring it in thirty seconds.”
“Yes, but it’s still just chicken,” Dan got up as if he was quoting Shakespeare, “But there are ** different ways to cook a chicken to created an entire variety of tastes and flavors in order to please more than just the average five year old.”
“If you say so,” Leo grabbed a dry nugget, “either way I’m sticking to what’s safe.”
“You know,” Cody thought for a moment, “I’m beginning to wonder if you really are Picasso. You’re way too timid.”
“Being on stage is different,” Leo nibbled on his nugget, “I know that those things wont kill me.”
“That’s it,” Dan got up, “I’m going for a walk.”
“Wait I-,” Leo tried to follow, but Dan was skilled in moving through the crowd. He was gone long before Leo could get to his feet, “and he’s gone.”
“Then go after him, jerk face,” Sora shot Leo with another blast of water.
“Can you shoot someone else for a little while!?!”
“Don’t take it personally,” Cody pulled Dan’s meal closer to himself to prevent the waiter from taking it, “he really loves food.”
“He just needs some time to cool off,” Ariel took away Sora’s watergun.
“You know I could give you a bird’s eye view,” Pepper offered off of Leo’s shoulder.
“Hey, if anyone’s going to give a bird’s eye view around here,” Angel flapped her way land on Leo’s shoulder, “then is should be me.”
“No, it’s okay guys,” Leo swished the spirits away, “if they say their friend needs some time, then we should give it to him.”
“Who are you talking to,” Cody stopped eating out of concern.
“Don’t worry lil’ dude,” Michael put up a peace sign, “it’s just our radical spirit partners.”
“Yeah, we’re not crazy,” Leo laughed with a hand behind his head, turning to the right suddenly, “Shut up George!”
Both Sora and Michael laughed at the joke, but the other two didn’t understand since they didn’t meet or have seen any of Team Nature’s Fury’s spirit partners.
At another part of the Park, Dan was going through his recipe book. He was mad at Leo for hurting his pride as a cook, but he knew that his cooking hasn’t had many successes over the years. He knew there was something in here that the singer would love. Something wild and beautiful to show Leo that food has it’s own art, outside of what shape they took.
Unbeknownst to him a dark figure was following the soul in distress. Sure, it wasn’t a very strong distress, but it was strong enough for his little experiment. Humans always were easy prey…
“So you’re really humans,” Ariel asked looking at Crash specifically, “all of you?”
“Yeah,” Sora snapped her fingers for Angel to physically appear and land on her arm, “This is my partner Angel.”
“Nice to meetcha,” the eagle smiled at the members of Desert Storm, “Well, I’ve been here the whole time, but you get the point.”
“When we change, we’re really just combining with our partners so that we can increase our natural abilities and unlock our special powers,” Leo finished explaining, “It’s kind of why we act a little bit differently when we transform. My Partner’s a heck lot more confident than I ever was.”
“You kidding,” Pepper whacked him on the back of the head (ineffectively), “I spent my entire life in hiding if you hadn’t shown up.”
“So who’s your partner,” Cody ran in front of Leo. Leo decided to allow Pepper to also step out into the physical plane. Pepper clomped his feet on the concrete boardwalk. He wasn’t much taller than Leo, but even if he were half the size Pepper was a freaky looking creature. It was almost as if he were a chimera on his own.
“Cody, this is Pepper,” Leo proudly introduced his partner, “he’s an Okapi.”
“Cool,” Cody nearly dropped his ice cream, “is he like a zebra hybrid or something?”
“I’ll have you know that I’m a real animal,” Pepper looked hurt.
“And he talks too,” Leo laughed at his own idea of a joke.
“Your partner looks just as ridiculous as you do!”
A storm of fireballs blasted its way from no where, nearly burning Leo’s feet off.
“What the heck,” Leo freaked. The group quickly looked up where the voice and fireball had come from. A top one of the attractions was a cloaked brown rabbit boy. He stood almost six feet tall (including the ears). His covering was extremely dark and perfect for traveling across in the desert sun. The mystery man jumped from atop of the building and landed in the midst of the flames. The thin fur kicked high into the air with his rather large knee high boots. His black pants and white shirt wrapped tightly around his body. He had brown gloves on and goggles in his hair. His eyes glowed unnaturally red.
“Desert Jackie,” Cody and Ariel stood shocked at the fury.
“Friend of yours,” Sora asked as she sprayed the flames off Leo’s feet.
“Yeah, it’s Dan furry form,” Cody mentioned, “but something’s off.”
“That doesn’t look like his radical self,” Michael stared at Jackie, he could see a mysterious glow surrounding Jackie, “his aura is radically messed up.”
“So you can see that I’m not your friend right now,” Jackie smiled to himself lighting a fire in his hand, “call me Dark Jackie.”
“Splash, On Stage,” Michael shouted for Splash to change into their Transformation device. Cody and Ariel took out their own as well.
“Put those things away,” Dark Jackie pointed towards Leo, “It’s him I want.”
“M-m-mme,” Leo pointed to himself.
“That’s right,” Dark Jackie nodded, swirling the flame in his hand, “in a duel and if you don’t agree then I’ll go wild.”
Leo gulped, the others tried to step forward. Leo raised a hand to block those behind him from passing him. He silently nodded in agreement.
“Wise choice,” Dark Jackie put out his flames turning around, “come on, the stage for your punishment is already prepared.”
Before anyone else could object, Dark Jackie leaped away. Leo turned toward Pepper and leaped up over his back, “Follow him, Pepper!”
“How many times do I have to tell you,” Pepper shouted, already in pursuit, “I am not a horse!”
The others tried their best to follow after them. They had already lost sight of the two of them. They sent Angel up to see if she could get a bird’s eye view of them. Angel quickly found them and circled over their location. Upon arriving, they heard Dark Jackie’s voice echoed from an older building (that used to contain the sea lion attraction) that was currently closed down for repairs.
“I hope that you’re ready to Duel for your life, Leo!”
“I’m dueling for yours, Dan.”
“Don’t call me that,” Dark Jackie snapped, “I told you that ‘Dan’ is gone.” The group had just reached the “arena” at this point. The moment that Dark Jackie noticed them he smiled one last time and dropped a crystal, “you’re too late.”
The moment that the crystal shattered on the ground, a dark aura exploded and surrounded the stage. The others barely reached the railing before they were zapped backward on the steps. They didn’t have time to recover before Dark Jackie opened his mouth again.
“Ow my tush,” Cody rubbed.
“Not radical,” Michael rubbed his head, “we just got wiped out.”
“What the heck was that,” Ariel tried to straighten out her hair, “Jackie doesn’t have this kind of power.”
“That was a Shadow Pendant,” Jackie didn’t even acknowledge them, “Now we’re in a Shadow Duel. You wont be able to get any help from outside of this stage.”
“So that’s why he wanted to Duel here,” Pepper told Leo.
“One on one is certainly easier to win than a five on one,” Leo smiled at his partner.
Pepper took a few steps back to prepare himself for the battle, “too bad it’s still two on one.”
“Then let’s even the odds. Ready Pepper,” Leo signaled for his partner.
“Let’s kick it up,” Pepper leaped in the air before vanishing in a burst of light.
“On Stage,” Leo shouted as Pepper shifted into their transformation device. Leo clumsily caught it with both hands. He clicked the button to open the secret slot and inserted his emblem, “Nature’s Furious…” Leo shot his the device directly in front of him, “Revolution!”
Upon pulling the trigger, Leo burst into flames. Small horns grew backwards from his forehead as his face developed different colorings. He gained a shirt and a new pair of bell bottom pants that had zebra stripes on them. A thin tail grew out and his ears stretched out. A collar that seemed to belong to a clown grew outwards like flower pedals. A set of headphones strapped themselves over his new ears. His emblem appeared on both sides of his headphones. His nature themed Duel Disk appeared on his wrist before he burst out of the flames, swirling the blazing remnants with his fingers.
“Hidden Artist of the Safari Jungle,” Leo posed one last time for his Duel Disk to set itself up, “Furious Picasso!”
“So this is the famous singer of Nature’s Fury,” Dark Jackie scoffed, “I wouldn’t even give your costume a three out of ten.”
“I think that you’ve said enough,” Picasso loaded his deck, “and we’ve kept our audience waiting long enough. Let the show begin.”
“Let’s Duel!”
8000 Picasso:VS:Dark Jackie 8000
“I want the first attack,” Dark Jackie motioned for Picasso to draw.
“So I get the first move? Draw,” Picasso took a look at his hand, “I’ll Set a monster and then activate the Spell Card Seed Cannon!” A big bushel grew up behind the Facedown on Picasso’s side of the field. It seemed to be a hybrid of a cactus and a rose bush, just without any roses. “End.”
“What a weak move,” Dark Jackie drew his card, “When you control no monsters while I control none, I can then Special Hieratic Dragon Tefnuit to the field.” A white eye symbol sketched itself on the ground in front of Jackie. A gold and white dragon flashed onto the field. The shining dragon roared loudly. “Although he can’t attack this turn I can still Tribute Summon Hieratic Dragon of Su by Tributing Hieratic Dragon of Geheb from my hand.” A second symbol drew (this one violet) itself out before flashing and a second gold and luminescent dragon appeared. It roared like it’s fellow Hieratic Dragon.
“You cannot Tribute Monsters from your hand.”
“I can with these Dragons. Such is the power of Hieratic Dragons,” Dark Jackie’s eyes seemed to glow on their own, “Now when Geheb is Tributed, I get to Special a Normal Dragon from my Deck, but it’s powers go down to zero. Of course, I only have one in my deck.” A golden symbol sketched itself out, but this one was surrounded by a golden circle. It opened up into a golden tunnel that allowed a giant gold metallic sphere rise up like a sun all on it’s own. (O Def) “Here is the Hieratic Seal of the Dragon Overlord.”
“What the heck,” Cody snapped, “A Level 8 Monster with no attack power or Special Abilities?”
“Epic fail…,” Sora frowned, shaking her head.
“I wouldn’t be so sure about that, Dudette,” Michael looked at Ariel, “consider’n how you two are on the same radical team… then you’re surprise tells me, those monsters aren’t even in his radical deck.”
“You’re right. Jackie’s never used dragons before,” Ariel nodded before Jackie continued, “However, Jackie never makes a move without a reason…”
“Now that I have two Level 6 Monsters I can use them both to open up the Overlay Network.” The two Hieratic Dragons, Tefnuit and Su flashed into their respective colors of light that flew up and then down into a swirling vortex. “Exceed Summon: Hieratic Dragon of Atum.” A violet gold armored dragon warrior spread out his wings it as landed on the field. His overlay units orbiting around him. He crossed his arms and smirked. “I’ll now activate his ability. By sacrificing one Overlay Unit, I can now Special Summon yet another Hieratic Seal from my Deck.” Atum shattered one of his Units and a new golden sphere rose up from the ground on his other side.
“See,” Ariel pointed, the others nodding in understanding.
“Now he has two Level 8 Monsters…,” Picasso thought to himself.
“I’ll now Overlay both of my Hieratic Seals of the Sun Dragon Overlord,” Jackie signaled for the seals to rise up into the sky, unlike ordinary Exceed Summoning the two units fused into a single sphere with two golden light orbiting it as well. The seal’s outlines slowly grew red and cracked open. The sphere opened up and transformed itself into a brilliant crimson dragon with gold armor. It’s roar was powerful enough to shake the ground. “Bare witness the unsealed, Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis!”
“Dude…,” Michael bobbed his head, “now that’s a radical tongue twister, right there.”
“Now for Overlords power,” Jackie closed his eyes for a moment before he continued, “I can Tribute any Monsters in my hand or on the field to destroy the same number of cards on the field. I’ll Tribute my Hieratic Dragon of Eset to destroy your facedown Monster!” Overlord bit down and shattered one of his Overlay Units, before flashing a brilliant red. Everyone had to shield their eyes as Picasso’s facedown was destroyed and sent to the Graveyard. It was a woman with a bulbous flower blooming off of her back and head. She screamed like a banshee as she was vaporized.
“My Monster was a Botanical Girl,” Picasso shouted when the assault was over, “When she’s sent from the Field to the Graveyard, then I’m able to bring any Plant-Type Monster with 1000 or less Defense to my hand. I pick Lonefire Blossom!”
“When my Eset is Tributed then I get to Special a Normal Dragon from my Hand, Deck, or Graveyard,” Dark Jackie pointed to the field as the XYZ Material Hieratic Seal returned from his Graveyard, “I can’t do anything more except setting one card facedown. Now for my Battle Phase, Atem can’t attack the turn that he uses his ability, but my Sun Dragon Overlord can. Ultimate Drought!” Jackie’s Sun Dragon Overlord roared once before he let loose a giant fireball that was almost the size of Atem at Picasso.
“Picasso,” his teammates shouted as he was engulfed in the flames before he could do anything to protect himself. The fireball consumed Picasso’s entire side of the field. Everyone watched helplessly as Picasso’s form shriveled up like his Botanical Girl had moments before. Everyone in the room could feel the heat of the flames. When the attack was over the only thing that was left was Picasso’s flowerless Seed Cannon.
“That ought to teach you,” Dark Jackie laughed crazily, “burn by the ultimate power of the sun!”
“Yeah, flames like that would really hurt, wouldn’t they,” Picasso questioned from behind Jackie, “that is, if it actually hit me.”
“When did,” Dark Jackie turned quickly only to find that Picasso was gone in a whisk of smoke.
“Radical,” Michael raised a fist of endearment.
“That’s right,” Sora slapped her forehead at her own forgetfulness, “I hate it when you scare us like that!”
“What just happened,” Cody looked up at Sora.
“Picasso has Camouflage and Illusion abilities,” Sora explained, “he usually uses it to make a better performance in our shows.”
“Looks like it’s come in handy for once,” Angel stated.
“This is against the rules,” Dark Jackie shouted looking around for where the real Picasso was.
“There’s nothing in the rules that state that I have to be literally hit when your monsters attack,” three more Picasso appeared, “As long as I don’t sneak peaks in your hand. I can stand anywhere I want.”
5000 Picasso:VS:Dark Jackie 8000
“I’m still confused,” Cody looked up the others, “what is Picasso doing?”
“Basically, it’s like a Mirage,” Ariel explained, “he’s not really standing where those real Monster attacks can touch him, so that he can continue to Duel without suffering from any of the pain.”
“Very smart,” Jackie returned his focus out to the field, “I was going to make this short for you, but if you want to prolong the inevitable.”
“You’re not one to talk,” Picasso laughed, “I took… what? Maybe five seconds to make my move. Where as you…”
“Any good recipe requires at least 79% of any attention towards the proper preparation,” Jackie preached for a moment, before his eyes grew red again. He seemed to have a headache.
“There’s the real you shining through that dark mask of yours,” the Picasso’s pointed out.
“Shut up already,” Dark Jackie stomped on of his huge feet, “I liked you better when you weren’t such a hot head.”
“Same to you.”
“I Set one card and End,” Dark Jackie placed the last card in his hand onto the field.
“Finally, now I can counter attack,” all of the Picasso clones drew a card, “I play my Lonefire Blossom!” A bulbous flower bloomed in front of the center Picasso. The tip of this bulb lit itself like a candle. Picasso’s Seed Cannon also grew a red flower on one of it’s stems. “Now I tribute it in order to Special Summon Phoenixian Seed!” The bulb burst into flames and was replaced by a magenta colored seed with many dying leaves growing up and out of it’s top. A single olive green eye opened itself up. Yet another flower bloomed, but Jackie wasn’t focusing on it. “Next I’ll send Phoenixian Seed to the Graveyard so that I may Special Summon my Phoenixian Cluster Amaryllis!” Phoenixian Seed burst into flames just like it’s predecessor. It grew up and out into a beautiful red Amaryllis that possessed eyes and a long beak like pedals. A third red flower bloomed…
“I’ll also activate two more Spells from my hand: Solidarity and 7!” Two more Spells appeared one after another on the field. “I’ll explain all of them eventually but I’ll start with Solidarity: While I have only Plant-Type Monsters in my Graveyard, then all of my Plant-Type Monsters gain 800 Attack points.” A green aura shrouded Picasso’s Phoenixian Cluster Amaryllis as it’s attack power grew. It actually roared before Picasso continued, “Now Attack Sun Dragon Overlord! Phoenixian Scattershot!”
Picasso’s overgrown plant opened it’s mouth and sprayed the Sun Dragon with a countless amount of seeds. The Dragon caught fire before he retaliated with his own fireball to obliterate Picasso’s only monster.
“Why did he do that,” Ariel turned to Sora, “Atum has less attack power and Phoenixian Cluster Amaryllis would still be on the field.”
“No, it wouldn’t,” Sora shook her head, “Amaryllis destroys itself after it attacks.”
“Then why would-,” Ariel was interrupted by Picasso.
“When Phoenixian Cluster Amaryllis is sent from the field to the graveyard, then it automatically inflicts 800 points of damage to my opponent!” Jackie’s monster finally shattered into ash before flames rained down on him.
5000 Picasso:VS:Dark Jackie 7200
“That’s nothing,” Dark Jackie snarled. I mean actually snarled. You don’t see a Jack Rabbit snarl that often. Jackie was used to fire power, but it doesn’t mean it never hurts, especially in a Shadow Duel.
“Well, they say that a little bit goes a long way. I’ll Set then End,” Picasso shrugged before setting a card, “During my End Phase: I can remove from play any Plant in my Graveyard so that I may Special Summon Amaryllis back in Defense mode.” Phoenixian Cluster Amaryllis grew back up, albeit not all the way. (0 Def) Jackie closed his eyes to the summoning so he missed the fourth flower blooming.
“You really think that you can stop me with that silly plant,” Jackie drew his card, “I’ll activate my Hieratic Dragon of Atem’s ability once more to Special another seal from my Graveyard.” Atem shattered his last orbiting star to open that sun gate for a his golden sphere. “I’m sure you know what’s coming next! I open up the Overlay Network so that I may once more Exceed Summon Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis!”
“Try saying that four times fast,” Michael told some unseen audience.
The two spheres smashed into each other and repeated the Summoning of Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord. “Now, I’ll activate the Spell Trade In, by discarding a Level 8 Dragon from my hand, I get to draw two cards.” Jackie threw away his third Hieratic Seal and drew two new cards.
“I’ll now play the Hieratic Seal of Convocation to add a Hieratic Monster to my hand. I’ll also activate the Hieratic Seal of Superiority so that I may Special him from my hand. Celebrate the return of Hieratic Dragon of Nebthet!” A violet symbol drew itself out and allowed a violet moon dragon dashed up and out. It roared to express it’s dominance. “I’ll now activate Nebthet’s third ability: by Tributing my now powerless Atem, I get to destroy your worthless plant!”
“When Amaryllis is destroyed you still lose 800 points,” Picasso said as stardust fell upon his weakened plant. It quickly withered and died away… it’s seed sack exploding and raining down on Jackie.
5000 Picasso:VS:Dark Jackie 6400
“A small price to pay considering you’re now wide open for an assault. Go Nebthet! Attack the one on the left!”
Dark Jackie’s violet dragon roared as she shot off like a jet to slash right through the Left Picasso. Picasso was sliced in two and was quickly recognized as another one of his illusions.
“Sorry, that wasn’t me either,” the other two stated, before shaking their heads, “what is with villains always attacking the one on the left first?”
3000 Picasso:VS:Dark Jackie 6400
“In that case,” Dark Jackie smiled cruelly, “I’ll just attack where I know I wont miss.”
“Where? Looks to me you’ve got a 50-50 chance.”
“It’s guaranteed,” Jackie pointed towards his crimson dragon, “Sun Dragon Overlord attack… the peanut gallery!”
“What,” everyone shouted before the crimson dragon roared. A giant fireball formed in his mouth before he released it. Everyone braced themselves for the end of their lives.
“Too bad,” Picasso motioned for his trap to activate, “Dimensional Wall! This redirects all of that damage towards you instead!” A dark portal opened itself up in front of the audience and absorbed the blast deep into an alternate dimension. It didn’t stay gone for long as another portal opened up above Jackie and crashed down like a meteor. Two shadows appeared under the flames. They fell down as the assault cleared away. Picasso’s clones disappeared as people recognized the second shadow as him.
3000 Picasso:VS:Dark Jackie 3400
“So that’s… where you were hiding,” Jackie laughed weakly. Picasso stood back up to his feet, huffing all the way. It wasn’t like he could have moved out of the way. He sacrificed his own safety to save the others.
“Ya know,” Picasso shook his head to try and regain his composure, “it’s not… as bad as… I thought it be…” That was before he fell back on his rear end.
“Not as bad! You can’t even keep standing,” Jackie shouted.
“It’s okay. I’ve been hurt worse than this,” Picasso huffed heavily, before grinning from ear to ear, “besides… I’ve already won.”
“What,” Jackie pointed at the okapi man, “I’ve not only got more lifepoints than you, but I have two powerful dragons. What makes you think you can win.”
“End your turn and find out.”
“……I End.”
“Good, I draw,” Picasso slowly drew the card from his deck, “Now the first thing that’s going to happen is I’m going to Summon Mystic Tomato.” A giant tomato with a fanged face rose up from the ground. Yet another flower bloomed on Picasso’s strange plant. “And with this my Seed Cannon is fully charged.”
“Fully charged!?!”
“Each time I Summoned a Plant monster it gains a Plant Counter, but only up to five. I’m also able to send it to the Graveyard and inflict 500 points of damage for every Counter that it has.” The cactus hybrid’s five flowers let loose a storm of seeds at Jackie. He was left with countless bruises that made him look like he had the chicken pox. That is if you could see under all his fur.
3000 Picasso:VS:Dark Jackie 1900
“So what,” Jackie smiled, the forces that were controlling him were weakening, but not letting go, “these dragons… can crush your tomato into a hundred cans of tomato paste.”
“Then I’ll now activate a Spell that I’m not proud of putting in my deck called Infected Mail,” Picasso’s card rose up from behind him as he stood back up. It depicted a black and red email with a skull and crossbones on it, “This card allows me to select one Level 4 or lower Monster, allowing it to attack you directly.” Mystic Tomato turned black with a jolly rogers on his forehead. “Go Mystic Tomato… Direct Attack!”
The tomato bounced its way a Jackie and consumed him whole. However, the monster tomato ‘hologram’ disappeared before it could do any real physical damage. The dark forces vanished along with Mystic Tomato. Jackie’s monsters vanished and the cards in his deck scattered from the impact of the hit.
3000 Picasso:VS:Dark Jackie 0
Picasso: Wins : Dark Jackie: Lost
“Now that…,” Jackie smiled as his body shifted back to his human form, “was not fun…”
“Hehehe…,” Picasso’s wounds were healing up as he laughed, “I guess not.”
“So what’s my penalty game,” Dan fell back from his lack of energy as Picasso had to think about it for a moment. Picasso wasn’t one to punish anyone, but Dan had to play a Penalty Game, that was the Law of a Shadow Duel. However, Picasso could only think of one thing… the shadows did the rest as they enveloped Dan.
“Picasso what are you doing,” Ariel shouted.
“Nothing, I swear,” Picasso raised his hands.
“Dan!” Cody ducked under the railing and leaped to the lower sections. The shadows slowly swirled into a giant black dome. Picasso and Cody both punched at the walls, but were ineffective. It was like punching a giant marshmallow.
“I can’t break through,” Picasso kicked as hard as he could.
“Dan can you hear us in there,” Cody pounded the orb, “Dan!”
“Yeah, I think tso…,” a voice said from inside the bubble, “It’ts kind of tingly…”
“Dan, there’s something wrong with your voice,” Cody shouted
“Uh oh,” Picasso stopped kicking. He had a look of complete horror on his face.
“Uh oh? What do you mean by ‘uh oh’,” Cody asked.
“I swear I didn’t mean to,” Picasso raised his arms defensively, “I was just thinking about what kind of Penalty Game I’d do.”
“But you didn’t say anything.”
“I know,” Picasso shouted as the shadows were finally dissipating, “the Shadows must have been reading my mind or something.”
“Whoa,” Dan shook his head as he slowly stepped out of the darkness, “that watsn’t very tscary for a penalty game.”
“Dan?”
“Cody? Talk about a growth tspurt,” Dan compared his own size to Cody, “you’re taller than I am. How long wast I in there?”
“Actually Dan…,” Cody trailed off.
“I did this,” Picasso put a hand to his mouth, “I made you… a kid again.”
“I’m a…,” Dan took a look at himself and screamed, “AHHHHHH I’m a kid again! A tiny bucktoothed four year old!”
“Five year old actually,” Picasso pointed out, laughing awkwardly.
“No, five wats when I had thits whisstle with my etsses,” Dan paused for a moment, a sneer plastered on his face, “not… one… word…”
“Okay,” Cody snorted back a laugh, “what ever you tsay Danny.”
“Yeah,” Picasso laughed to himself, “I’m tso tsorry.”
“No you’re not,” Danny pouted before he leaped at the two of them, “but you will be!”
What now? We could…
