EH i like the new fire starter. in fact i like all the starters this time around.
But you kinda gotta look at it NOT from a furry PoV.
Pokemon IS meant for kids and all, gotta see it the more innocent way.
Besides, all people do is bitch and moan how the next gen is sooo shittier from last gen and so on and so forth.
while i do agree some of the newer gen pokemon have hit and miss designs, there isnt a reason to flat out HATE them.
Im not gonna claim that designing new pokemon is easy at all, in fact im sure its hard, You have the types to consider,mixng only up to two types, what pokemon are already out, making sure they dont look like other pokemon and if its a "Baby" form of a certain pokemon..how to make it look adorable/cute or if its a new evolved form of an older pokemon.. how to make it look more cool/bad ass from its previous stage.
But The real battle here is all the "90's" Kids crying out how nothing will ever mount up to the pokemon of "their" time. VS People who are ACTUALLY fans of pokemon and like the gameplay of it and will play regardless.
Everytime i hear people whine "this gen is soooooo gay!" i roll my eyes and move on. i dont think pleasing these people is possible and shouldnt be taken seriously.
If you cant be open minded, then why ARE you still into pokemon? play whichever gen is relevant to you and stop giving opinions about a generation of pokemon you dont even care about.
I do fear that a lot of "bad furries" will rape the fuck out of this new starter, i foresee a ton of furries being THAT fox pokemon just because its a fox and they have "MY Pokemon Form!!11!"
There is always gonna be "Those group" of people in any given community that fucks shit up and makes the rest of that community look bad. Yes its annoying, but not much can be done. Hey, we'll all float on.

I like bidoof and bibarel as well. I never did understand why so many dislike that pokemon- I mean like someone told me they hate it because of the sound they make and I'm like "..they don't sound that bad o-o ". Also what do you think Chespin is? I think he's a chipmunk..just wearing some green thing on his back/head.
