Much like when I made my first Yarn tail, i know that this is not a very impressive specimen, but I am very proud of how it is coming about and I'm happy with the result.

But Kira, why are the fingers separate? Why didn't you do the normal thing of making the palm side of the paw all one piece to keep the fluidity of the fur?

Well that is easy actually, I gutted a teddybear to make this paw, so the fingers were each made from different parts of the bear as well as the palm of the paw and all other parts of it. It seems cruel I know. But the thing is that in the are where I live you can't get high quality fo-fur, so i had to go by way of... killing a stuffed animal that was more or less the right size for the project I had in mind. so far I have not run out of parts to use, so It has been a success over all.

Had I been able to purchase the fur desired, i would have, unfortunately that was no an option so I had to find alternate means. The only thing I am currently having trouble with is the claws, i want to add claws but I don't want them to be made flat. I'm going to try a few patters to see what works to make a 3D claw out of felt.
