SO. While my computer remains shaky with a dead battery and I flounder with some contest submissions of school work (... after school has ended???), I'll post some more or these looser critter design sketches. This fellow and the next few pieces after him to turn up are actually designs I came up with and first drew about a year and a half ago, found again recently, and was compelled to redraw because holy crap they needed to be improved. So. Here's a basic doodle.
The general idea is a fairly standard two or three creature mashup (this guy's a white deer lion thing), but trying to make it all look like it belongs together was a fun challenge. Hopefully his coat comes across as vaguely opalescent or multitoned or something.
