Tygon wanted an image of him and Aember from my Blood from a Stone universe. I like Tygon so I didn't want him to be abused by her like she does with most folks, so we decided that he could be her personal bodyguard and bouncer. She treats him like furniture most of the time, but doesn't mistreat him considering she puts her personal well being in his hands on a daily basis. She probably sends him off to pound random people as a show of force, and also just send him to top her drink off when it runs low. He's like a butler, with muscles.

Of course Tygon also has feelings for her, but she doesn't let him touch the merchandise and he doesn't make any kind of show of those feelings, so she is cluelessly unaware of this fact. The only way it really shows through is that Tygon is excessively protective and many a potential suitor have found themselves ejected from her presence at the first little provocation. Aember doesn't mind because she finds the whole show very entertaining even if she doesn't quite get the reason behind it.
