gotta love classic spyro

Love it! Classic Spyro is the best, though TLOS series isn't to bad.

I have noooo idea how that reboot series is like. Apparently it's quite infamous?

If you can ignore the cringeworthy tacky story - they're actually quite fun and very pretty overall. From a visual standpoint I found the games just very appealing (prime reason I played them at all - I wanted to see designs). The last game in the series (dawn of the dragon) is visually not as appealing (especially not on the PS2), but I found it the most fun installment, especially if you have someone to play it together with (co-op, yay!).

oh the feels, classic PSone Spyro games were the best in the series if you ask me, and look at it now, "skylanders", makes me sad

The PS1 games are only ones I've played! I have no idea how the gameplay of the newer installments in the Spyro series hold up, but I do know a few Spyro fans who really enjoy Skylanders. *shrug*

I don't really play games anymore, but if I feel like relaxing the original three Spyro games are my go-to games <3

Whilst I have great affection for the original trilogy (no contest, seriously), Skylanders is definately a step in the right direction, and having replayed the original trilogy 100 (or 120%!), I've noticed that they actually pay a lot more homage to the original trilogy than you'd expect!

But I digress, love it!

aaaa yes the first spyro is such a memory trip. Every time I get to the Dream Weavers homeworld I get all excited all over again heheh.

Everything down to the sound of sparx picking up gems for you is nostalgic about that game. <333

When I was a kid I played the 2nd one first, then the 3rd, then the 1st XD I have an incredible fondness for that and Crash Bandicoot =w=

Was moving some furniture a few months ago and found my [thought to be lost] copies of the first and second games. Happy times ensued
