I am originally from yosemite california . My dad gave me an antique table made from a sliver cut from the branch of one of those trees made waaaaay back in the day. thing is one solid piece of wood about 4 foot long and 4 inches thick and is about 70 years old before it was illegal to take wood from those trees.
