Poor lapres has never been anysort of breed of owl.
A little back history on her:

One night my hubby and I were watching youtube and came across an adorable owl getting head scratches. He laughed and said how much of an owl I was. It stuck!

Previously when I was drawing furs 11 years ago I had a panda fursona. Since leaving the fandom and my panda (you can see her in my gallery as the tronish character but was named dako then) I created charactes here and there ranging from a thylacine, cat, and a sheep...

I decided to make an owl named lapes after my pen name, so as I had no idea whee to begin, I mashed my current chacters together and made my owl as she was... horns from my sheep, colours from my lemur, and her tail from my panda.

As such I am still determined to use an owl but just refine her a bit more. She has to have teal and orange incorporated and a pink gem on her chest which is normally hidden by her matching scarf.

I wasnt going to redo her at all but as my journal post got so much positive feedback and really good ideas I just had to sit here andsketch her on my tablet. XD

I had a few colour palettes of this image but hubby and I both like this one. Hopefully when her redesign is done I can then start on her anthro side.
