Actually...all my OCs are human-ish. I share 58 characters with my sister. I have 9 particularly special. I love seeing art like yours, I've never found courage to make art of my characters that I want to share...they mean lot to me, it's actually a bit intimidating. Kinda got into the rut of painting animals, so it's a bit hard to show my creative side. I have painted one of my sister's characters, but that's it. ^_^'

The only time I can have some fun painting other people's characters are for commissions.
That way I can bribe the jealous voices inside my head with money... saying something: "Shuddup, I need cash to survive!" XDD

:) I feel the same way. Why do fan art when you have much more awesomeness already in your head? XD
If I didn't need the money I would do more art of my characters and their worlds (saving for a live-in art studio, so I can graduate from my parent's dining room!) Animals are fun and all, and everyone seems to like them so yay money, but the fantasy stuff...it's a breath of fresh air.

I actually have real soft spots for animals, especially canine and birds. So now I really paint what I love best, girls, canine, critters and birds only. No more boys, gays, photomanipulations, cats, horses, etc... but I still do pixel arts. Too bad FA can't show GIF files here so I don't upload my pixel works at FA. :) Same here, I've been around animals all my life. Your animals are ADORABLE! And such posers, they love the camera. What kind of birds are those? They're so tiny and cute!
Haha you guessed right! Though more than just one cat. I live with my parents on a 130 acre farm, and we have 18 cats (2 new ferals may mean 20 in the future, but we have to catch them and get then neutered first.) We also have 2 horses, 3 llamas, 15 chickens, 3 peacocks, 7 ducks, 2 emus, 6 goats, one parrot, 2 guinea hens, and various wild animals we care for but aren't really pets. We have a wild deer herd that comes running when they hear our Gator 4x6 vehicle. Gator means food time! LOL. It keeps them on our land so the hunters won't get them. ;)
