I had a collection once, but I got scratched with one swords, nothing, later I managed to cut deep into my head, when the sword bounced off my skull I thought shit, get rid of it, I can't have it, I will play with it... I am glad it wasn't sharpened, but it could have been dulled...
The point of balance is around 1.7" from the cross, that allows strong blows without using too much brute force and does not feels too heavy for the hand (although it weights 4kg/8.81849 lb which is the double of an average medieval sword).
I am so happy with the work of the brothers that made it that I might request them another sword when I can get the money for it (I'm spending almost all on college and starting an armour myself).
