This was the first toony style fursuit head I had ever attempted, built on a balaclava with a moving jaw, and could actually fit over my glasses :D
Due to a crunch in time I was unable to finish Oliver like I would have liked to, and this is what she looked like before she had to be ripped apart. She was originally meant to be a part of my Drawing Art class final and she was, then I planned to use her afterwards. However, upon posting pictures up that I was selling her unfinished after gathering so much interest, and mentioned the fact that Ollie had "glued seams," the reaction from most was nothing but disappointment.
That day I learned for the first time that all-glued seams are apparently sign of laziness unless you do it properly, and usually can melt away or peel off in temperatures that are too hot or too cold. I was disheartened and a bit sad to have to tear all of her fur off and even then I was unable to sew the pieces together because of the hardened glue.
However, I have sold her as a foam-base and she now has a new home, where someone with time can fix her up again and make her look like this once more, or maybe even twice as cute!
Lesson learned: Never fully-glue seams unless you know what you're doing!
