I set up a special sketch request thing for the new year, right? To brush up on my character interactions, speed-art, and actually make some pics worth uploading, haha!

The first one I've finished is for , a dear old friend of mine! He requested my bat character, Taph, with his own bat, Escarlata (or Scarlett). He didn't specify a scenario, but I thought it'd be funny if Scarlett made Taph all flustered, since he's usually the one flustering other people (FOR NO LEGITIMATE REASON, BTW. HE JUST DOESN'T REALIZE HOW WEIRD HIS OWN ACTIONS ARE.)

In general, I'm not planning to color any of these requests... But, in this particular case, I've made poor Stop birthday/christmas art for YEARS and have NEVER actually scanned and sent any of it to him. Which is so dang lousy of me-- especially since he's always been such an amazing friend, and one of the biggest artistic inspirations in my life! So, I figured the least I could do was put in some extra effort to make him a colored piece!

MY ONLY REGRET IS THAT I HAD TO COLOR A TERRIBLY DARK AND POOR-QUALITY PHONE PHOTO OF THE SKETCH, BECAUSE I HAD NO ACCESS TO A SCANNER. *SOBS*
