Casted some resin eyes last night in these paint palettes I had bought a while back. I did recently get new ones and they worked fine, but these must've been of different plastic. The ratio was fine, I warmed up the A & B parts a bit before mixing them, and I coated the palette with mold release...
Didn't work. Had to use a hammer to get the two supposed LED eyes out that are shown, and gave up on getting out the normal blanks left in both the circular, and the other mold. Both are foggy despite the fact I did everything right, and I'm not sure how to fix that.
I hate to face it but I'm running out of time. I needed some nice looking, clear LED yellow eyes for my resin blank, and mine just aren't coming out properly. I think I just need to commission some.. x.x
Trashing both palettes today since they've been pretty much demolished. I'm not going to risk wasting more resin..

Sometimes too much mold release can cause weird problems with clearness. Try pouring a bit of clear nail polish over the foggy eyes. That might help make them clear. When I was having resin casting problems a while back, I tried that and it worked like a charm on the badly cast ones.
