So i'm surprised by what little art of Genesect there is out there. i don't think he's too bad of a pokemon, than again i dont really use him or any legendary out of principle but i think he's interesting. But again i'm a hardcore sucker for 'questioning being real/do i have humanity' stories.
There's potential for him to have a pretty interesting story since the 15th movie is supposed to have two of them, so chances are there's going to be a brawl ebtween them [just liek mew and mewtwo, straaaaaaaaaaaaange]. But knowing the writing crew on these movies it'll jsut be the usual "oh no the random named town that doesnt appear in the games is being attacked by a super powerful pokemon, heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp! yay ash and crew saved the day and now moving on"
Personally my headcanon is that he's not considered a real pokemon, but more a weapon, especially by N, since they made a huge deal about mentioning that. And Touko's just "aww what a cute robot bug!" cause she's an nice person.....and she's my favorite playable character so far lol.
Also, i realise i made him super huge, since Genesect is only supposed to be just under 5ft. He doesnt seem intimidating if he's barely as tall as the player characters, despite the huge techno canon on its back. So whatver, he's justa super burly 'roided out one.

I havent really researched into it, it's msotly info i've stumbled across while lookign for toher things. All ive seen is that 'preview' image of the genesect doing a claw action in a desert or soemthing and the red genesect....as a hover car.
I know a picture of one was show in the animu already. If there's supposed to be a lot in the movie then they're probabaly just going to fuction as the usual evil army surplus power off to destroy something, which sucks since those plots are really boring for a pokemon movie.

( [b] possible spoilers[b] well it's usually how it is with cyborg insects, how its gonna end will be, one of them will be swede into a moral dilemma of whether its doing right or wrong, there's gonna be mas-eve property damage, but it all ends on a happy note and none of the mane characters will give a c$%# about how much its gonna cost to repair now York (which the move takes place( well there new York)) and everyone lives happily ever after, till next week.

I dont have high hopes for it, i stopped watching the movies since they're not really worth looking for to torrent and when they end up on tv they're just....awful. More than originally.

They'll probabaly have a new event for the movie. The one they released for the game is just the pokemon, no extra or anythign to do with it. You just get him than go to this scientist who gives you the drivers...done. Plus he sucks to have right off cause he counts as traded and is lvl 15 so he wont listen to you until you get 2 gym badges. Nintendo usually releases the pokemon multiple times anyway, some just as a 'here catch it' and then movie specific ones. Since they went to the trouble of making a shiny one for the movie, chances are that'll be the next genesect give away and they may have some special thing to go with it, like fight N or Ghetsis again or you need to bring him to Castilia.
I'm sure nintendo will release another one for the upcoming animu eps and movie. Probabaly the shiny one. If they do, hopefully it'll be one where you cna catch him. The first genesect you just recieved at lvl 15, so he counts as traded, so you wouldnt be able to use him until you get the second gym badge and then minimally to avoid leveling him too fast.
I've seen speculation that it was froma kabutops, but from the bio they gave on it they said it was its own thing since Kabutops werent really fierce, well as fierce as this thing was supposed to be. but i imagine the modifications were done during the revival process, simialr to mewtwo's upgrades so it had them to start when it woke up or whatever. but even still, it's simialr to the questioning of being genuine that cyborgs are usually grappled with, atleast to me anyway.

Well the movie is coming out in June in japan, so it'll prob be here in the states a few months after. So they'll prob have the event up for it again.
I know I'm planning to buy the 2ich figure that just came out for him in japan. i dont know why but i did him even if i dont use him. This will prob be the only cute pic of genesect cause its actually supposed to be the 'villain' force in these new movies. But we'll see.

even that one had problems, but yeah in terms of the others, it's one of the better one. i mostly feel awkward with it because the english version is rather butchered form the original, which i saw first. hence why im like wishy washy in terms of how i feel on it. i have a soft spot for 3, won't lie. even if i have nooooo idea what thta movie is about XD
haha I know. I mean small ones are ok i guess; they're just as awkward as the mountain sized ones. I just think there needs to be more in the 6-10 ft range. Plus when they first showed Genesect it looked like he'd be mewtwo sized, and then they give his stats and its like "wow really....that's....misleading..."
