The fourth part of the Elements series.
I have a bit of a fascination with machines, buildings, and other man-made objects that are in the process of being reclaimed by nature. It's very beautiful. I couldn't help doing something with that for the element of Earth.

Very nicely done. I'm a big disaster buff myself; seen even bad movies like "2012" a few times. I am also fascinated by scenes of places and objects being reclaimed by nature. The History Channel did a whole series on what would happen to our cities, iconic structures, etc if every person on the planet simply vanished over night. "Life After People" first analyzes what would happen in the first hours and days after mankind vanished, then skips ahead to weeks, months and finally years later. It is surprising how quickly Mother Nature would reclaim almost everything. http://www.history.com/shows/life-a.....ople-buildings
Thanks! I'll have to look that up!
A while back I read about the unbelievable amount of maintenance that needs to be done just to keep everything we've built from being consumed by nature, so I wouldn't be surprised if the amount of time it'd take was much, much less than we'd otherwise think.

Kidnapped?! They'd have to catch me first :D Though I guess there is a slight chance I could be outwitted...
