Ok, since I'm mostly working on my comic these days I ended up realizing that I'd have to start drawing human faces again, cause I really need practice. So not long ago I decided to work on elves, thought it'd be fun and all, so I just sketched quick doodles on a few pages and ended up with three sketches I figured I'd keep, finish and post. So this is the first of the three.

At first this was just a doodle on the corner of a page, but I figured it'd be a good exercise to scan it and redraw the lines with my tablet and basically do everything digitally, though I'll admit I didn't want to spend too much time on the background so I just rushed it without any lineart and in the end I'm probably gonna start doing that more often for certain pics, cause it did save me a nice amount of time. The other thing is the shading, I tried a new technique once again, but this time I'm pretty pleased with the result since the shadows aren't too dark and all.

So, anyway, in the end here's the result, a random High Elf of Keldrassar, the elven kingdom of the world in wich my comic takes place. Obviously I like fit chests so that's why he's topless, though normally he'd probably be wearing a vest or something. ^^'
