Stream'mish - Striker : "Yuki Lays In Wait"
Striker Redwolf commissioned a drawing of a friend's character, a snow-leopard with interesting spots (they match her snow cammies), and an even more interesting choice of weapons (A Solothurn anti-tank rifle). He decided that she was a giantess of sorts when it was explained that her rifle of choice happened to be 8 feet long and 118 lbs *empty*.
Aside from the fact she has three breasts, this is one of my more placid and rather "normal" drawings in a while.

Very nice. I am glad to see it here. I have since added my own page here, but I only have photography as my art at the moment. Thanks so much, and your live feed/chat was the most fun I have had in a chat in awhile.
Thanks

And I will have to recheck the book "Unintended Consequences" (By John Ross © 1996) The main character (Bowman) uses a Solothurn with great effect. I didn't know from the book that it was that heavy. But still, as we all know the extra breast gives one super strength. ^^ And at only 2' longer than my Enfield with the bayonet on, that makes it purrrrfect.
Thanks

Also just when you thought it was a gun that was a bit too big for the character, I found this. Not sure which one was worse on the user. Maybe need to have a calendar of anti-tank gun furries? Problem would be coming up with enough of them. Lets see, there is also the Russian PTRS, which I have never seen. Supposedly the basis (The action at least) for the SKS. Now we only need 9 more, lol.

We did indeed; if you look up the Boys rifle on YouTube you'll find that Disney even did a training film on how to use them. But frankly, by the time the US joined the war, it was already pretty obvious that AT-rifles were obsolete except as anti-materiel weapons and against lightly armored vehicles.
Incidentally, I've had opportunities to handle the Boys, PTRD, PTRS, and Lahti L-39, thanks to an associate who's an arms importer: the first three are relatively man-portable (long and ungainly, mostly). The L-39 really only just barely counts as a "rifle" and is closer to small, highly portable artillery.

Even though not in this class at all, for a large man portable anti material weapon I like the BAR. or for those who insist on .308 I think Colt made the Monitor for police use. I am not lucky or rich enough to own or hold any of these toys. The closest I have come to anything big in a modern sense is I tried a friends MacMillan, and have used a Romanian PSL. The PSL is ok for the first 10 rounds or so, as long as you remember to not hold the forestock and only the base of the magazine. But it overheats quickly. That being said I did some impressive extreme long distance work in the same cal. with an old Mosin Nagant. That round is deadly. I'd have loved to see someone build up a decent platform for it in a more modern package. Other than that I used to own an M1 with all the trimmings and an original wooden storage box with the guys name on it. Had all the manuals, training aids, tools, attachments, even an original belt. I miss it now, and with whats happening, I am sorry I sold it now, as it may be impossible to re-buy one day.
