It was the last really good FF game. I wish it'd been more popular, because maybe they'd have continued alone the lines of looking back to epic games with plot and character, instead of devoting so much to graphics and forgetting the important parts.
Hell, 13 was barely a game at all. You spend hours running in, essentially, a straight line. There are no towns, there's barely anyone to talk to. Most of the characters are bland and forgettable. The battles are basically automated. And the story... I don't even remember the story. That's how bad it was. I can remember 4, 6, 7, and 9 in detail, but I can barely remember anything beyond a vague outline of 13's.
