Here we have a new pony OC I came up with along with the help of  Herald-of-Tzeentch, who is also the artist behind this fantastic pony you see before you.

Ivy Blossom is the operator of the town greenhouse/flowershop Verdant Ivy Greenery, named after and following the tradition of her father, Verdant Ivy. She is petite and caring but has a feisty side when it comes to anything or anyone she cares about. She met Candid Serenade at a successful rally to save the tree that now houses the library and Twilight Sparkle. He stays with her when he's in town, and much like her plants, she loves to spoil him and see him grow under her tender loving care, though because he travels, she can't keep him fat and happy all the time, so she often has to start from scratch when he returns, though neither of them seem to mind very much. =P

Her cutie mark is a sun blooming from a seed. One day when she was little and helping her father manage the plants, her flank started glowing a bright gold. The plants that were hit by the light immediately began to flourish and bloom. When the light diminished, her cutie mark was there, and while she partially is able to control it, when she's caring for her plants, or happily doing the same for a pony like Candid, it begins to glow of its own accord, which has been known to cause interesting side effects when plants aren't the intended recipient.
