FoxAmoore again.
And the initial series of sketches that led to the latter, plus one bonus plant spirit courtesy of the sneaky Alectorfencor who snuck in unannounced heehee.
The story behind it:
""The idea evolved from a random thought “star fishing”. I imagined the two of them would have heard a story of stars that swim close to the earth on certain nights and in particular places. Together they discover a deep sea of stars that bob and float above them like swarms of jellyfish emitting a soft translucent gold light. But they also discover something else, the stars seem to emanate music as they bob and move through the velveteen night sky. They decide to catch some stars and hear their music more clearly. Don’t worry, they let them go once inspiration fills their hearts to the brim and the tiny stars float peacefully upwards to rejoin the collective symphony in the press of the deepest ocean of all."
I like the feeling this idea conjures in me, just sweeps away all the many years and takes me to my youth and to those still new feelings of wonder and imagination. I think this is a concept I'd like to explore further, just because it makes me feel so relaxed and smiling <:.

Gorgeous concept and I absolutely love these! Am glad you posted them here...my favorite has got to be the one on the lower right...I think you really captured that childlike sense of wonder in the poses and expressions, you can tell they're pressing their ears real close to the jar and listening so intently in hopes of hearing those beautiful notes! Just wonderful. Very much reminds me of my youth catching fireflies in later summer. ^^
