Commission for Andrew Oldaker of his character, Kaelyn Riverwind of the Mawi tribe. I absolutely love this piece very much, but I am NOT digging that fur texture, granted he's supposed to be a somewhat wet otter. :) So, I think I'll just do fur the normal way I do them. Also, I need to work on hair! But, that background is rockin' and I love the piece for those reasons. Also, I had to redo this piece twice because Photoshop kept crashing and would mess up the entire picture by doing so. X3

This came out very very nice. Don't hate the fur! It's awesome, really. I see your fur technique improving with each new project! Don't give up on it. It really is looking good. The directional flow and the layering of the fur is superb here. I love how well the blue markings came out and I love it when you do backgrounds like that.
