I iron one side, put a backing on, and then attach magnets. The show side is not ironed.

I don't mind them. I just don't like it mushed on the show side. I've tried looking around for small tiles, but could order some eventually.

Ya but that gets improved with practise...and a good iron XD

As for tiles? Perhaps some paint is it need- special paint though not just painted squares of card! ;w;

No paint would be needed. Mosaics are nice.

Like I said, never been a fan of a show side being ironed. It leaves a gloss as well. I like to keep things simple with a backing.
