Previous • NextYes...Fish Food is back! I just took a break from posting them...as you can see they are still from way back in October of 2007.
As you recall...the Fish Freeway had been installed between the two tanks, and the fish are starting to try it out.
Living in shallow, oxygen-poor tributaries of the Amazon River, Corydoras Catfish have both gills and the ability to breathe atmospheric oxygen. They prefer to breathe from the surface, and to do this they have a ritual. They dance around for awhile near the bottom of the tank where they hang out most of the time. Their little wiggle dance gets higher up and then all of a sudden *BANG* they shoot to the top of the water, take a quick gulp of air, and are back on the bottom before you know it.
And being bottom dwellers...they were completely oblivious to the existence of the Fish Freeway. It was only a matter of time before this episode happened to one of them.
I had to catch the poor thing and put him back in the tank he came from. He was so traumatized and lost...

I made my own from scratch just to see if I know enough in Flash to be able to...and I do!
