As 2013 will mark the 10th anniversary of my first furry con ( AC '03 ), I thought I should put together a little celebratory pic.
This collage features just a small sample of the many wonderful critters that I've encountered over the past decade.
Some, such as Andy Fox, JBadger, Scooter Squirrel, White Paw & Skippyfoxcub amongst others, I regard as friends.
Others, such as Duncan Roo, Jaggers, Orzel or Clementine, I've met with and spoken to a few times but can't say I know them too well.
And some, such as Vin Weasel, Kipper or Emberkomodog, I don't know at all.
Yet they all share one thing in common - every single one of them has put a smile on my face just when I needed it. The past 10 years have been the best time of my life and it's thanks to all of you.
And if you're not in the pic it doesn't mean you didn't stand out to me - it just means I was running out of space :)
You can see a closeup of the crowd, divided into two sections, in my scraps.

It was tiresome, but fun to do. I regret leaving a few people out ( only remembered them after I'd put it all together ), but given that I've met literally hundreds of furs over the past decade, there was no way I could realistically include everyone. I'm pretty sure the scale is way off in places, too!

I don't think you realize how much of an impact you made on me back then - memories of you playing around at various MFFs and ACs are some of my strongest from those 10 years of going to cons. It's because of people like you that I'm a fursuiter today.

The first time I came across you was back at MFF '06. It was during the fursuit games and I was standing beside you while you were in fursuit chatting to a young guy ( I think it was his first con ). I remember you being particularly nice to him and saying how you wished going to cons would bring as much happiness to him as it did to you. I was rather impressed by the way you were putting this young guy at ease and helping him fit in. Always liked you since
