(UPDATED - PLEASE SEE: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/13631620/ FOR NEW PRICING SYSTEM)
As promised, an official commissions page! Now, let's cut to the chase and get some information out of the way.
WHAT I WILL AND WILL NOT DO FOR YOU:
I WILL draw nearly anything requested that is classy in nature. Whether it's fully human, fully animal, 'mixed' or fantasy-esque in nature, I'm happy to draw it! Sensuality and (tasteful) erotica/nudity are fine, too! It can be a fun challenge.
I WILL NOT, however, do any blatant kink or fetishistic work. While I have no problem with whatever it is people enjoy artistically, I've also got no desire to paint it, either. Sorry.
If you have any questions about a commission idea that you're unsure of, don't hesitate to ask me! I'll be happy to talk it out with you. Otherwise, just use your best judgement! I don't have a ton of reservations beyond what's listed.
PRICING AND WHAT YOU GET:
Alright, now to touch on the images themselves. Prices above are ballparked as reliably as I can guesstimate, though in cases of massive extra/fine detail (let's say your character is covered in elaborate Maori facial tattoos) or a lot of additional painting labor (you want a super elaborate trading card that has fancy ivy and flowers growing through the text box), there may be an extra charge. I'll quote more specific pricing to anyone who'd like to ask about something specific! As for 'what' exactly you get with each sort of piece…
SKETCHES: Exactly what it says on the tin. I'll sketch a fullbody character for you in monochrome with varying levels of implied block shading or detail, depending on the day. These are the cheapest, quickest, and loosest commission option available!
HEADSHOT/BUST: This one's pretty straightforward. I'll do a fairly fancy headshot of your character that generally stops under the neck, or at the shoulders. Backgrounds are a complimentary mishmash of color and paper texture. If you intend to use them as in icon (and know this going into it), I can try to keep things nicely in a square format. Detail level for these tend to be pretty slick, high and polished, with quite a bit of fluff and hair rendering (as seen in the example).
LOOSE PORTRAITS: A single character portrait, generally full bodied (unless requested otherwise?), with tasteful paper/color washed 'background'. These are focussed more on getting 'just enough' in there to work, so they tend to be loose, painterly, and have a certain conservation of detail where it isn't completely necessary. This means you won't see a lot of high detailed fur rendering, but the overall image should still be pretty solid. It's a good, quick, fairly inexpensive option.
TIGHT PORTRAITS: A single character full bodied portrait (again, unless less was requested for some reason) with tasteful paper/color washed 'background'. It's essentially just a much sharper, upgraded version of the loose portrait without the detail spared, so there'll be a lot fully rendered texture and crisp focus.
NOTE: Extra characters in the image are something I pretty much just charge as a second portrait if they're also full bodied and the like. This isn't a hard and fast rule (I don't count things like little minions and comparatively small beasties near that heavily), but it' a decent way of figuring out prices.
I can also do backgrounds on request (though these add a significant cost and take longer), OR work on a completely white background (which is no charge, but an option vs. colored paper backgrounds) by request.
CHARACTER DESIGNS: I wanted to put these in a separate section to address-- BUT, so far as prices go, they're all equivalent to standard loose or tight portrait costs (depending on which is requested). I thoroughly enjoy designing characters from scratch or partial scratch, so if you want something new invented, or something old re-vamped, feel free to throw it front and center at me!
Just please keep in mind (and this applies with ALL my commission types, not just the designs) that any details you ABSOLUTELY MUST have in the final piece need to be stated, as clearly as you can, prior to starting. As much as I'd like to pretend that I'm a magical wizard, I am very much NOT a psychic being and therefore lack the ability to read minds. If given the choice, I prefer loose/minimal guidance and a fair bit of artistic wiggle room, but I'll do my best to accommodate specifics so long as I know what they are.
TRADING CARDS: Okay, this one's a bit of a fiddly matter, but I'll do my best to explain it without getting too confused. Requests for Trading Cards will be treated as either a loose or tight portrait (whichever one is requested, plus any other 'extras') with the additional cost depending on how involved the card template becomes. A lower price card will have an image that does not break its frame or breaks it minimally (… the image example is the exact OPPOSITE of this), without much fancy to-do on the card itself, short of color tinting, possibly symbols, and flavor text. More expensive cards get to be that way with crazy stuff happening like you see on the Ivory Dragon up there, adding image bleeds of any sort that need a lot of additional rendering (fire, backgrounds, the like) and so forth.
IN THE CASE OF TRADING CARDS, please have at least a paraphrased equivalent of what flavor text you would like about the character being shown at the time of request! I can rephrase and smooth out any grammar necessary, but chances are I'm not going to have a clue about the real depth of what it is I'm writing, so best to give me a clear direction on it. Also be mindful of the (vaguely) limited space available for text, so try not to write a novel!
I ALSO DRAW FANART TYPE CREATURES AND THINGS, so I'll happily take commissions for all your Pokemon, Digimon, and whatevermon/other related business requires. Cute or scary doesn't matter; I'm solid with both so long as I have appropriate visual references. And of course, as always, if you have a question, please ask! Drop a comment in this image's comment section and I'll get back to you as quickly as possible to answer any general questions.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST, PAYMENT:
All commission payments should be sent through Paypal to kdavis51[at]uco.edu upon confirmation of your order being taken and started. I take the costs in full upfront as soon as I've began/plan to begin a piece the same day, and my turnover rates (once I've started) tend to be 2-3 days at maximum. Those on any lower rungs of a waiting list are not required to pay until I start their piece (to avoid monetary limbo in the event of something happening), but are, again, expected to pay as soon as their turn comes up. In the event of a payment delay I may choose to take the next person in line with ready funds and return to the bypassed piece afterward, so please be timely!
A PAYMENT NOTE: A friend of mine has informed me that Paypal has (possibly?) been rather belligerent in the past with assumptions about certain keywords, so please DO NOT mention FurAffinity by name in the Paypal information box, but rather, include your FA USERNAME there for me to know who's who.
(HURRAH I THINK THAT COVERS EVERYTHING YAAAAY)

I've never done one as a commission before-- though in theory, I suppose I could? Cost and the like would all depend on how detailed a person wanted the angles/how many different drawings of the character there were, though, so I can't really give a set price off the top of my head. Sorry, man.
Aaah, okay. Well then, if I was going to guesstimate on that, assuming you're after a fairly comparable painting level (vs. flat colored stuff like I've seen on some kinds of sheet work?) to the work here in my commission info post, I'd just call that a portraiit + a headshot for pricing and add the two together.
Ah, thank you kindly! That's a very wonderful comment and I appreciate it sincerely. :>
I've actually debated on whether or not to start charging hourly, though I'm definitely holding off for a while yet while I still feel like I'm in a sort of perpetual 'practice mode'. The other concern I've had is that I don't really know how I could visibly 'show' clients that I'm working on a certain precise time clock like many do via livestream, since I lost all my streaming software during a pretty nasty hardware crash some months ago and I'm tentative to find it again (at least, until my computer has some heavy diagnostic stuff done to it-- this laptop gets blazingly hot and overtaxed with Photoshop and livestream both running in tandom). Do you know if a lack of livestream is generally considered problematic for a shift to that?

I sell commissons and never order any so I wouldn't know.
I, personally would be worried about it if the fee felt too steep, but you're a practiced freelancer and have quite a few people who enjoy your work, so as long as your prices don't increase substantially I'm sure you're fans will trust you :)
Also if NEED BE you could make hourly screen shots of your work maybe? For the more paranoid clients anyways.
HAH your art is amazing, if only you could see it the way the rest of us do XD
Kinda makes me wish I could see my own art through someone else's eyes, but meh, it's an artists curse is it not? ;3
I know when i get control of my painting and style that I will be switching to hourly, but I'll be lucky enough to stream my work, maybe you could invest in a new computer until then?

Ah, glad I checked back here while I still had internet today-- pricing for two characters is generally just doubled that of a single-- so if a loose portrait of one full character is 40-50, then two full characters together in a loose portrait is going to be 80-100. The same general rule applies to any number of characters and tight portraits, too!
Okies, I figured erect would be out of the question, so I thought I'd ask about flaccid, hehe. (Although I believe a sex scene can be done tastefully, most disagree, haha). The reason I asked was because any male nudes I saw in your gallery involved a sheath that covered their penis, 'cept the sketch of the human. :3
