I signed. and the poor Orca needs to be free then liveing in a small space like that. Hell no orca should be trapped in the wild and sold to be use in this way..... If they were really going to have helped him in the past they should have done so a long time ago. vs now where he can get very sick in the wrong environment
Shareing this vid might help all to see how he is.

He's already too much influenced by people. Even ONE WEEK of being in captivity is way too risky, and Kshamenk is held in captivity since 1992. If you put him back into the ocean, he will die very soon. Please THINK before doing petitions and trying to help. I absolutely agree he need much more space for living, but letting him go back to the ocean is as cruel as keep him in such a small tank. It would be much more more helpful to put efforts into moving him to large tank OR collect money/votes/whatever to build a new large tank for him.
Unlike what happened with Keiko, I believe Kshamenk really has a chance.
He doesn't really on humans for anything but food, giving him a much better chance of survival than what Keiko had. He is not emotionally attached to them in any way, and if they went through training to teach him how to hunt (like they did with Keiko), he would be perfectly fine. He was too old to adapt to captivity after his capture, so he really is an ideal candidate.
Personally, even a sea-pen would suffice in this case.

I agree, they shouldnt release him right away to the ocean. That would cause shock. I'd love to see him rehabilitated in a sea pen of sorts. For however long he needs until he's able to be released. If he's deemed in releasable then he needs to live out his life in a nice sea pen without having to do shows and be trapped in a tiny pool.
