Here's one of my crystal red shrimp! All three (two not shown) are SS grade, hinomaru, and I've forgotten how many are no entry. This one appears to be either a no entry pictured at a bad angle, or not a true no entry.

Aww, yeah. I originally ordered 4 hoping for some breeding. I lost one a month or two ago (it almost seemed like it was missing a pair of legs or something. The last week or so I had it, it was like the tail end was dragging. Strange :/) That's great to hear that yours are breeding! I started out with red cherries, as many people do. They'll breed if you blink at them, so I was expecting similar with the CRS. So far, nothing. I've had them since it was warm enough to ship, so maybe since September or so. Makes me wonder if they're mixed sex or not. Maybe they are just finicky!
They are suuuper finicky XD I don't why compared to the cherries and stuff but they have to have perfect water conditions and the right diet usually. And they also have to feel safe. Since you just got them I would wait another few months and see if they start breeding then, it takes forever for them to relax it seems, but if they are mixed gender and you have the right conditions they should start breeding... eventually XD
shrmp are carnivorous, so if adults can not hide from others, then they will be picked off, red shrimp are blatantly obvious so you have to almost have a jungle's worth of moss for them to get away to shed in. also, Crystal shrimp are incredibly finicky, and like most inverts, need about six hours on a drip to acclimate properly, even after that, they might not cooperate and die off. honestly, i'd go onto aquabid.com and see if i couldn't get a few more.
