Just finished this a couple days ago for my new Cimarron 1911
Constructed of 6oz Veg Tan Leather
really kicking myself for not tooling it before assembly though xP [guess i'll just have to do that on my next one]
really loving it cus it gives a lower profile when carried than my current carry pistol [S&W 638 J-frame chambered in .38Special]

NICE O:. I really want to get a 1911 or some other fun .45 pistol to shoot around at a range with. but I fear that the assault weapon ban will come before I can save up D:

don't have to worry about that with the 1911, it's not an assault weapon
and even if every point of the insane proposed bill gets passed it still wouldn't affect it since it only has a 8 round magazine

I love how that turned out! At some point I might would be interested in getting one for my CZ 75 if you take commissions for holsters.
