This was a really fun design to fabricate. I started with the idea of what Yuugi might look like in ancient Egypt, then went from there. I wanted him to look regal, but have several key differences that set him apart from the Pharaoh, Yami Yuugi/Atemu. I decided to make him a priest under the god Anubis, who would use his body as a vessel to pass judgement on the souls of the wicked.
There's a very cool mask that goes with the costume, but it isn't pictured here because I wanted to show the emotions Yuugi might have here, anxious about channeling a god, but determined to serve his Pharaoh.
