I think this requires an explaination which is different than how i made this picture but rather why and also add a little dislcaimer later.
The reason:
I have a big (heh, let's say hudge) empathy for furries and anthro characters in general, and seeing how such characters were (are) been enslaved by an anthro ants colony in
endium's currently ongoing comic "Ant's hunt" made me feel quite bad for not being there and do (or at least try) something... i needed a little vent (or "personal revenge") ^^;
Don't fraintend me, i never sayd the comic is bad, considering i'm not into such things i admit is very well developed concept for it's kind.
The disclaimer:
As i sayd, the comic this picture is based on has a very well developed concept indeed but i must also warn you that contains very weird and quite heavy/hardcore fetishes, so if you're an "impressionable" person i say "don't even try to read it", but otherwise if you have no problem with fetishes and you can hold pretty much everything, then you should give it a read.
Personally... i don't like it much, mostly because there are fetishes i like (bondge, cocooning, layering,...) used for a final purpouse i don't like (transformation) but that's just my own personal taste.
How did i make it:
Once somebody asked me "Ota, how do you get your inspiration ?", my respond is "randomly, sometimes because i feel something, sometimes because i like to see something, some other times because i have an itch in my pants,...".
In this case it comes from a strong feeling i mentioned above, a big empathy. Also other factors influenced the theme like that i was "randomly watching a Jin Saotome gameplay from Marvel Vs Capcom" and that i recently "not so randomly watched a Kotetushin jeeg episode" that now strucks in my head "DINAMITE KIIIIIIIIIIICK !!!" everytime i see Ota kicking.
So yes, my inspiration is mostly random and appears from random sources i don't control directly ^^.
Ok, now you can laugh/insult if you want, also Street fighter puns are accepted ^^;

The funny thing is: just placing the imagines one over the other wouldn't give an "interaction" effect so i browsed and i thought about the visual effects on fighting games and i've tryed to recreate a simple one since most of the actual fighting games have far way bigger and more visual-blocking ones ^^
Here's the jist of the discourse I just saw…
Otaku: "The transformative goal of this material is an unfun and invalid goal."
Inaki: "I find the transformation part a fun, valid goal, and thus you belittle what I am enjoying."
Cai: "As he said, the transformative goal of this material is an unfun and invalid goal."
Inaki: "So you do want to belittle what I am enjoying?"
Otaku: "As I said, the transformative goal of this material is an unfun and invalid goal."
I think you are missing the point of how your art and comments on this topic have made Inaki feel in this situation.

My goal was only to help what seemed to be a conversational impasse!
Sometimes, when conversations like that start, both parties continuously miss what the other is saying (and not saying, and 'metasaying', etc), this causes misunderstandings that breed further misunderstandings and are how drama starts. I hope I helped in some small way to head off drama before it happened.

Need a hand?
*Uses three strange coins and slots them onto a device on the waist before sliding it into a slight diagonal position before taking a device from his hip and strikes it across the three coins downwards diagonally.* Henshin!
*Coins appear and circles around him before he transforms into Kamen Rider OOO!*
Taka! Tora! Batta! Tatoba! Tatoba ta-to-ba!
Let's go, ants..! :D

While it's hardly realistic ;) I think the impact flash certainly makes it much more clear what's going on. Though I don't think I could get my spine into that shape...
Ah well. Martial arts and a non-human spine, I have neither, and this version of Otaku has both.
And the evil part of me wonders if the end result of all this would be some ants standing around an entrapped, still-armoured Otaku asking one another how to get the "tin" open...

The pose was indeed a bitch to work on, consider i used a sprite from a beat'em up taken from a youtube vid recorded using a PC screen, so it was taken from a sprite on a small screen from a small resolution shrunk on a webpage @.@
which besides it was a bit strange, i was using "Jin Saotome" performing an aerial kick as reference and here comes the strange part: his back was showing 3/4 back and his pelvis was perfectly facing the screen or very slightly twisted from it, so indeed it's a strange pose but arf, if you check a gameplay from Marvel Vs Capcom (or a mugen one) and pause the screen on Jin Saotome when performs an aerial kick you can see the pose is indeed tricky and hard to understand.
Yeah, the advantage of soul boosted tin cans is that you can't open them so easily ^^

Well, seeing the Ants side of the thing is it like this: The anthros invaded their home to kidnap some of their kind. So they basically act in selve defense and in some sort of self serving action by enslaving or mentally reprogramming the intruders to serve their hive. I guess they would have ended up worse when they tried to do the same in a Hive of Bugs from Starship Troopers or of Xenomorphs from Alien.
His art style is fine too, just mxm stuff doesn't float my boat, but the way he captures people, if he was a girl or herm I'd have no issues with being entrapped by the devices he comes up with. (yeah I know I'm wierd)
Comic wise, yeah I can see what you mean. I like happy endings, over protaginist failure.

Very nice work! And this is cool actually. ^.^ <3 I had imagined a fun ass-kicking scene ala Jake Muller as he does it in his intro in Resident Evil 6. (Finally an ass kicker who isn't Albert Wesker to quote a friend. XD)
Though.... as far as I know about what Endium said.. I think all that TF stuff is reversible. I remember he had mentioned that at some point.
