This is a new idea I've had rolling around in my head for a while featuring a new character who is essentially a slime girl super hero but she wasn't always one and this is the tale of how she became so.
I know it's scary, two stories in one week...lets hope I don't run out of inspiration this time.

Things had been pretty dull for most of the day at the research institute. Danielle had been sat at the computer most of the day, aside from the occasional break, with her head resting on her hand as she stared at the blank results.
She was a researcher monitoring ‘communications’ from outer space, it was extremely dull most days with very little to do but wait for a ‘spike’ in the readings which could indicate extra-terrestrial life out there. Still it was a job and it paid well for her to just sit there on her backside all day.
She yawned as she moved to sit back on the chair and she looked around the room, filled with all kinds of expensive equipment all for the purpose of analysing any signal picked up by the massive radar dish.
“Another exciting day in the office…” She said to no one in particular as she spun the chair around once. However after another half an hour she heard a ‘blip’ come from the computer and she moved to look at it more closely.*
“Hmm?” She looked at the screen as it picked up a blip surprisingly close to the earth.
“What the? This better not be another meteoroid.” She frowned as she worked at the keyboard to analyse the blip on the screen. She couldn’t really get much of a reading on it other then it was heading very close to where she was.
She immediately grabbed the telephone to her boss to tell them the news and to arrange for someone to come and handle whatever it was about to crash land. However the response she got really surprised her, they wanted her to go out and investigate it claiming it was probably a meteoroid.
She frowned as she walked out of the building and into her small car, muttering about how she wasn’t trained for this kind of thing. She drove out and stopped a mile from where it was supposed to impact. She waited for an hour before she saw the huge impact, her eyes going wide as dust and dirt was sent high up into the sky.
However this was no ordinary meteorite and as Danielle got out of her car to investigate she blinked at what she saw in front of her. She took off her glasses and wiped her eyes and cleaned the dust from her glasses and looked at it again to make sure.
The surface of the…whatever it was seemed to be moving…rippling in some way. It was a pink-ish blue colour and she remained at the edge of the crater made by…the blob?
“What the heck is this?!” She asked no one in particular. The ‘blob’ was no more then the size of a beach ball but it seemed to be shifting somewhat. Then it moved faster then she ever thought possible as it seemed to lunge at her!
At that point she screamed and turned to run as the blob...thing…creature whatever hit the edge of the crater. Unfortunately before she could reach her car something hit her square on the back, knocking her down on her face in the dirt. She struggled to try and get the thing off of her back but she felt it shrinking and a very, very strange feeling in her stomach, spreading out over her body.
“Help!” She yelled out, though she knew no one was around as she could feel the creature moving inside her. She wriggled around as her muscles seemed to spasm and react on their own. Then she just let out a huge scream before she seemed to pass out.
Danielle woke up with a start, sitting bolt upright on her bed. She breathed heavily from the scream she had let out and she quickly grabbed her glasses on the side table next to her bed. She then looked around and saw her bedroom, everything seemed normal. She looked down at herself and again, everything was normal.
“It was just a bad dream…” She let out a huge sigh of relief as she fell back down into bed, her head hitting the pillow with a ‘FLUMP!’ She stared up at the ceiling, hands resting on her flat stomach, waiting for her heart to stop pumping a mile a minute so she could go back to sleep.
“H…hello…?” The voice was barely a whisper though it caused Danielle to jump and again put on her glasses and look around, her heart going a mile a minute again. She didn’t see anyone around but she got out of bed and put on a dressing robe as she walked around barefoot. She walked very cautiously as she looked around, turning on the lights but she still couldn’t see anyone.
“…Don’t freak out…” The whisper said and it seemed as if it were coming from all around her and inside her mind as well. She felt a freezing bolt of fear run down her spine as she froze in place, unable to move.
“What t…the…hell!” Danielle yelled out, unfortunately she lived alone in the institute as they only had the funding for her to man the facility.
“…Look that wasn’t a dream…” The voice seemed to get louder now and Danielle was freaking out again but for some reason she couldn’t move at all, other then speaking anyway.
“T…then y..you’re the…thing that c…crashed?!” She asked, fear running like a bolt through her voice.
“…Yes I am and I’m not a thing, I’m a Zhulin…” The voice said from inside her though she could also feel her lips moving and the words being spoken but they didn’t come from her.
“W…What a..are you going t…to do to me?” She asked, still clearly terrified.
“…Quite a bit actually, don’t worry they say being chosen by one of my kind is quite the honour and gift…” The creature told her and her eyes went even wider in fear.
“W…What?! W…Why me?” She asked, hysterically, and she heard a condescending sigh coming from the voice.
“…You humans don’t know anything do you? Okay…where to begin…” The voice said and Danielle gasped as her mind was suddenly bombarded with images.
Images of a distant planet on the edge of the universe, of other Zhulin, much bigger ones. It then came to her that this one inside her was a younger one. The images showed many Zhulin travelling the stars, using their amorphous forms to take on various shapes and forms and using it to ‘give’ other beings their abilities and traits to better protect others.
“W…Wait so…you came all this way…” Danielle said at last, her eyes as wide as dinner plates.
“…Yep, you and I are ‘bonding’ as we speak. Give it a day and we’ll be one and we’ll have all my knowledge and abilities along with your own…” The voice said and Danielle couldn’t believe it but she could feel…something happening inside her.
“T…There must be s…some mistake…I’m a researcher!” Danielle she said, her tone a little calmer but still incredibly freaked out.
“…Yeah I noticed but you’ve got a good heart. We wouldn’t be having this conversation if you didn’t and don’t worry you’ll get tougher and stronger then you ever thought possible…” The voice told her, a hint of amusement in it’s voice.
“B…but I won’t be…me anymore will I?” She asked and the voice chuckled.
“…And what’s so great about being you? I’ve seen your memories. Don’t worry you’ll still be your exciting self for the most part but I will be a part of you. I’ll always be inside your head too. ” The voice muttered that last part and her eyes go wide again.
“Y..you mean you’ll always be able to control me like this?” Danielle asked and the voice sighed.
“…Afraid not, once the bonding is complete I’ll be more or less gone but you’ll feel my influence. Trust me you’re gonna need it…” The voice said and Danielle suddenly felt in control again but she felt very, very strange as her legs suddenly seemed to give way and she fell down onto the ground but she never felt the floor hit her.
She suddenly realized she could perceive everything around her and she tried to open her mouth but…nothing happened. She felt very, very strange, as if she had suddenly lost all feeling in her body and was merely floating, like in a dream.
“…Oh yeah, should have mentioned your…well ours now, our body is reforming. Don’t worry you can change back to your human self eventually…Come on…” The voice told her and she suddenly felt a rush of sensation as feeling returned to her body, she was standing and she was walking…but it wasn’t her doing it. She moved in front of a mirror and her eyes went wide at what she saw staring, wide eyed back.
It was…a blue-ish blob but in the form of some kind of Lupine form but she could see right through herself, like she were made from some kind of slime or goo or something. However her form solidified, gaining definition and colour and most of all fur! She could feel the snow white fur against her skin.
She definitely looked like a wolf but she was stood on two feet like a human…well they weren’t feet they were paws now, complete with pads and three toes. She looked down at her hands and they too looked more like paws with soft pads on them but she still had five fingers. She was covered from head to toe in soft white fur with light brown patterns over her hips, chest and stomach. Then her eyes went wide as she realized she had a much curvier figure too, blushing a bit as she felt a little pudge around her stomach as well.
Her face had changed too! She saw what looked more like a wolf’s muzzle staring back at her in the mirror. It seemed she hadn’t grown that much taller, standing at around 5’10 now.
“W…What am I?” She asked, wide eyed and her eyes went even wider as she heard her own voice. It was much deeper and richer then before but still unmistakably female. The voice just chuckled inside her head.
“…If we’re going to be saving the world I thought it best to take a form completely different from what you look like as a human. After all you’ll still need to work and stuff in between stopping villains and stuff…” The voice said and Danielle just couldn’t believe it.
She blinked a little as she saw a blue ripple run over her body for a moment and she shifted back into a more…blob like look but still looking like the wolf.
“…Anyway this is our native state now, we’ll need to remain in this form for a couple of hours a day just to relax. Feels good being like this huh, no boundaries and stuff…” The voice said and if Danielle was able to blush she would have as she had to admit it was a very strange and unusual feeling but also a feeling of freedom.
“I…I guess…but...uhh what do we call ourselves now?” She asked, still not sure if any of this was real and she was still dreaming as she looked around and tested out her slime ‘legs’ as it was, moving around the room.
“…That’s up to you really, but would be good to have a super hero name you know…” The voice said and Danielle nodded, unsure if it was the influence of the blob creature on her mind but she was feeling more and more calm the longer she stayed like this.
“I…I guess…uhm…how about Amorpha?”

As their bodies are made form a gelatinous compound they are able to 'melt' into a being much like how water gets absorbed into the skin and such. Once melted inside the host they bond at the genetic level, their genetic codes interlacing, some parts being replaced from the genetic sequences in both Zhulin and host. Once it is complete their genetic codes are completed as one being.
