well that is unfortunate. I can see why he left though, it's annoying as fuck to have other people tell you what YOUR own work means, then to have them piss and moan that your an ass for having your opinion about your own work. If only furries realized it is a privilege that artists let them see their work on such a forum.

Your understanding of the situation saddens me. The guy only was stating his opinion, not making a critique or judging Anhes work, and then Anhes took it in a very wrong way, believing that he was trying to mock him. He then made a journal apologizing, and Anhes just picked what he wanted to read, being in his upset state, and thus maddening and going bawwwletting everything for no real reason.

This upsets me because I've known a little of Anhes and he really seems like a nice guy, but a language barrier, plus a misunderstanding, and a little rage, made the whole mess, and I can't help but feel heavily dissapointed, that was the least mature way of handling stuff over the internet.

as I say in the other lines.. those comments were just the last drop.. the problem have a long story.

Doesn't change the fact that: 1)The comments lacked a harmful meaning 2)Anhes could have acted in a different way.

More like, don't give a fuck, keep doing art? If one seriously has no willpower over a comment on the internet, I seriously doubt succeeding in anything in real life.

Like I said...that comment its just the smallest tip of the iceberg. You can´t drop a bomb asuming that thats all, and try to change others ppl POV because thats what you belive based on one simple comment without knowing whats happening or what happened in all this last years

You speek as if this is literally the only negative experience that has ever occurred on FA. As ZorroRe said, tip of the iceberg etc, etc. Albeit it a miss-communication, it was just the straw that broke the camels back. Nothing more, nothing less. Your resound to verbally punish Anhes, is the same type of vitriol he's seeking to avoid, because regardless of who is right or wrong, it's just pointless.

So how about fingers stop being pointed, and everyone agrees to be sad that such a great artist has left us.

He left because he thought the guy was criticizing him even though he wasn't. Anhes flipped his lid over something that nobody did to him in the first place most likely due to the language barrier. Yeah he was a good artist but his touchy emotions led are at fault for this, not anyone else.

The subject isn´t those comments. the problem had been on for years and he stand it for all the time he could.

That may or may not be true since there's nothing showing otherwise, but either way he didn't really need to flip out on a guy that wasn't even doing anything to him. And how do we know that those "years" of "nasty comments" aren't just more of the same thing we've seen here, people just trying to make a comment and him taking it as an insult? For all we know all of this could be entirely because of Anhes.

Honestly i had'nt realised anhes had left, i thought it was a little hiatus as honestly i was only really enjoying the delightful smut and not really bothering to read the comments. I just have to say, regardless of circumstances, loosing that artist is a blow to this community and a real shame. His work was of excellent quality, it was evocative, cute and had a style that was unique and gorgeous. We are poorer without it.

Hope he returns soon.
If he does and people give him a hard time all he has to do it block them.

I miss him so much... It's a loss for the community, caused by bigmouths who think they are experts for all and everything, but unable to do anything right themselves and knowing nothing.

El tema es que no fue tan pronto, durante bastante tiempo fue pasando de todo un poco, yo diria que tuvo bastante paciencia

Hay q tener mucha personalidad para bancarse a la internet. El flaco de Oatmeal hizo un buen post al respecto pero tras una rapida busqueda no lo encontre para linkearlo. La verdad es esta, mas alla de si todo fue un mal entendido o no, siempre van a existir personas en internet q van a criticar/bardear/lo que sea, hay que saber que uno se expone a eso y tratar de no victimizarse, aunque se muy bien que eso no es facil! Por eso pienso q si le hacia mal, esta perfecto q se vaya. Es una cagada no poder ver su laburo pero bueno, que se le va a hacer.
