My half of an art trade with stonerabbit
This character was rather difficult to draw. Characters with simple, graphic designs can be really hard to capture It's deceptively simple. I had to doodle him a couple of times before I got the hang of it. Nevertheless, I had fun with this. once I got the hang of it.

Something bugs me : If you had troubles drawing him like that, why didn't you just used a style and morphology closer than yours ? That's quite the point of an art trade.

In trying to capture the essence of the character, I guess I was afraid of making him unrecognizable or how he would translate into my style.
I actually drew this away from reference other than some preliminary doodles that I had to work from, so I was somewhat concerned about being on model when I probably shouldn't have been.
