I have been trying to collect the four original models of the TRS-80 computer line and I am nearly there! Only need to save up and find a working Model II to complete this little collection. So far I have a Model I that works, but the two monitors I have will not stay stable on the vertical hold. Probably the old TVs turned monitors. I have a Model III that boots fine, but the heads appear stuck in the disk drives. Also found a model 4 Portable in good shape, but same issue with the disk drives. Still, this is further than I have been and at least they take up a bit less space than console radios! And yes, I even have a working TRS-80 program recorder sitting in this picture. Found it for $5 thirteen years ago to listen to my music tapes on.
