Went out for a quick ride on my recently finished winter bike....works pretty damn well, and I may like it even more then my regular AM bike, lol.
No issues other then squeaky disc brakes...but they soon stopped squeeling after a few stops....no chain drops or chain skipping issues, which was my main concern. climbs pretty good too. ONly thing Iwant to do with it is shave down the chainring bolts so I can run jsut the drive gear with out that big one on the outside, which for now is jsut serving as a bashguard. It's worn to hell so it's not gonna work as a chainring any more. Getting rid of the outer chain ring serves no purpose other then it'll look cleaner....I may even grind/cut off all the teeth and keep it on...I'm not sure yet.
for a free bike, it rides awesomely. and with it being SS (Single Speed) there's no mechanical stuff to freeze up either.
Nice and light too...comes in at 27Lbs.
the background is of an old mill called "Purdy's mill" No longer in service it ran while grain trains still operated through our town in the early 1880's to somewhere in the mid 1900's...the mill was used to grin up wheat and such and was then put into hopper cars and carried through out Canada.

Yea, lol.In the summer/spring it's where the druggies hangout....there's a bit of graffiti on the other walls. A lot of people know this spot. Thanks, I'm attempting at working on my photography skills a bit...right now I got a Canon Powershot ELPH100HS...had it for a year or so. nice camera, I like the aluminum body...no fear of dropping it...I've even strapped it to the handle bars on my bike and taken video with it.
mmhm. Should see under some of the bridges around here...and other concrete structures. Some graffiti does look good, but all the graffiti here is crap. I've seen awesome looking stuff in Toronto and such.
and yea, camera isn't everything. It's more skill then anything. I'd like to try some high contrast shots with my other bike come spring.

pretty much, lol .I'm thinking of cutting them up and recycling them into something else.also the wheels on this bike have been on 2 other bikes previously...1st on a Stinky, then my Ironhorse, then this bike....Mavic makes awesome rims. I've had the Shimano hubs redone though, lol. I hate Shimano hubs.
