this was good
artichoke leaf shape pasta (purchased) I will have to try to make these from scratch one day, or at least emulate them
ratatouille
1 zucchini
1 yellow squash
3 vine ripened tomatoes
1 eggplant
1 small onion
1 cubanelle pepper
1 tsp tomato paste
2 tbsp olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
combine in a dutch oven saute for 5 minutes and simmer for 20 minutes on low heat
pesto (home made)
about 5 leaves of basil
about 12 pine nuts
olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
process the basil and pine nuts and gradually add oil until desired consistency is achieved
salt and pepper to taste
note: you will notice that very little of my cooking contains garlic feel free to add garlic if you desire. I like garlic but my mother is practically allergic to it
serve with balsamic glaze (also purchased) i am sure you can make this stuff from scratch, i am not sure how though if anyone has a good reliable recipe for balsamic glaze let me know (i want it)
rie crostini: the bread it is made from was home made....
(might post that recipe sometime soon too)
about a half cup of cooked chicken
after i took this pic i added some grated manchego cheese to the top
very good, beautiful and filling

That looks really good except for the Zuchinni...not a fan...I'd double up on the yellow squash...am a HUGE fan...even eat the yellow raw and sliced, dipped in Ranch dressing...very EASY to grow, too with VERY High yields. I see now you must be a professional chef. your dishes actually look so YUMMY, to tell the truth!
yes i am a professional chef irl. I am out of work and bored, that's why all the food XD.
Gotta spend my time practicing so i don't get rusty
i could tell all along you were kidding you are funny
thanks a million
i wish i could have made that pasta from scratch too. my experiences with homemade pasta has been hit and miss
i also like snake squash and patty-pans but i cant justify spending $4 usd's for a tiny package.

We once planted a 100' row of yellow squash on the farm...OMG...we harvested a bushel a day...EVERY day...ALL SUMMER...we canned it...froze it...gave it to the neighbors until they had enough...and STILL it kept coming...We finally ended up using it as hog feed.
The next year we planted two 100' rows of peanuts the plants grew beautifully, were covered with blooms...and...NO peanuts. Finally the plants yellowed and died. Disgusted, I went out and grabbed a plant and pulled it out of the ground and BAM! the roots were PACKED with Peanuts. Nobody told us that peanuts were a ROOT CROP! We got about 20 bushels of peanuts that year!

omg that is TON of squash
heh yeah peanuts aka groundnuts wow that is a ton......seriously lot of peanut butter ext hunh.
i tried planting an avocado tree once recently.... turns out some dumbell put them in the fridge ind the pits were all duds.
also WANTED to do prickly pear cactus. They actually grow well here, even in the wild, although they are very rare, and for some odd reason sprout near the beach. but the seeds i had saved got dumped :/.
the soil here on long island is very sandy and full of clay
stuff grows, but it can be a challenge sometimes. for some odd reason all of one species of pine tree is dying in my neighborhood. everywhere you look they are a dead orange-ish yellow. I am beginning to have doubts about our soil quality
