In special dedication to a very special friend of mine, as well as many of ours. A great man who truly lived a great life! He forged a thousand friendships and gave me an extended family to call my own. He lived life to have fun and was a man who was impossible to be angry at. His loss to this world will be eternally painful, but his legacy of compassion, friendship and leadership will live on forever through us all.
This is for you, Wolf!
Back story on this drawing:
Prior to the accident, my plan was to make FC badges for many of my immediate friends. I had gotten a few done, and the next person I had planned on making a badge for was Wolf. Sadly, his life was taken in the accident before I could begin working on the badge. So, for the last few weeks, I made the decision to painstakingly force myself to complete a badge in his honor. After hours of both emotional and physical pain, I did manage to complete this drawing. You will see me wearing a version of this (with some text on top of it) at FC, and you may see some others wearing it as well. It is designed so that Wolf may be with us at FC in spirit. After all, he absolutely loved to attend this fur con!
The characters in this drawing from right to left are Wolf (in a feral form) and his dog, who passed away in the car crash. They are now running free... together!
Rest in peace and have fun wherever you are, my friend!

i recall a while ago you said you were "just average" at best.. this piece you just made emptyset? it's art at it's purest.
untainted by desires, made purely out of emotions. forever together, but alone. this is what true art is mate. the spark that grants the artist's creation life is mastered through a heavy burden.
this art pleases the eye but it describes in the detail how you feel. it sends a shiver down my spine.
my deepest sympathy mate.

I'm just glad I could do some justice with this, given the amount of pain I was under...
I saw what you guys did with it in the frame... That means a lot to me, more than you can imagine!
Also, later this year, once I am able to, I plan on doing something even more grand...
