I tried gouche... I can't figure out Gouche for the life of me. Then I tried watercolors. I know them, just the Painter 12 version of Watercolors is buggy as all shit. So I slipped back to good olde lovable pastels. I'll pastel the shit out of this pic.

A nice image. Right now the flat colors are sort of decimating the sketch's details, but the parts that are more finished are well-defined, so I'm still looking forward to the finished product. The jaw looks a little wonky; crooked on the bottom half, but that's an easy fix with a slight counter-clockwise tilt to get it in line with the rest of the head - unless this was on purpose, of course. The finger-things on the tail are pretty cool, actually reminding me of an image I did forever ago but never posted.
