Usagina walked by the water, gently touching the tree as she went, feeling the strange soft bark beneath her hand. She had never gone this deep into the forest before, where the trees and flora were so strange, but now that she was older, she needed to know it. The fireflies danced around her, lighting her path, and lending their illumination to the waters beside her. Suddenly, a figure emerged from the water. Usagina summoned up her wind in a protective barrier as she took in the abberant sight before her. Large green eyes stared up at her in wonder, water dripping off the skin of the purple creature in the pond; it had three plant-like protrusions from its backside, like wings and a tail, and feathered ears peeking from the sides of its head. A long ivory horn curled back from its right temple, and flowers clung to its skin and hair. Usagina relaxed, her wind weakening to a gentle breeze as she realized the bizarre creature meant her no harm; it was as surprised as she. She offered her hand, and a smile, thinking that perhaps she had found a new friend.
Not my best writing, but I felt a little story for this scene would be nice :3
