So, this is Taku (means "fire-starter" or "husband" in Japanese- I have no clue how those two words relate), named such because of a misshearing on our part of a name being said in an anime called FLCL. We thought they were saying "Taku" and they were really saying "Takun". In any case, when we looked up the meaning of "Taku" it not only fit our cat, but we thought that surely that was what they were saying in the show, cause it fits the situation in the show to a T.
In any case, the reason I said he is the only cat we have that acts like a real cat is because he is standoffish, and only wants to be pet when he comes to you and asks for it. This is how most people generally depict cats, yes. Well all of our other cats (I have four total) are not like this at all, they crave attention, and usually come when called even, which is normally considered doglike, yes?
I have lots of pics in my phone of the weird ways in which he lays. He is truly a master of yoga.

Depending on when and what light you look at him in, he appears more or less orange. Sometimes he almost looks tanish, instead of the nice tabby orange he is.
Anyway, enough rambling about my cat....
